On Saint Patricks day weekend, we camped at Lake Casitas in Ventura County. We met a large group of friends from the Ventura Service Center from Alan's company. The folks from Ventura Service Center organized a huge RV gathering in camp site group "F". We took over most of campsite "F" and a few others around the lake.
There was a fishing tournament on Saturday but was partially blown out with high winds and a boat or two broke down that day including ours. We lost the water pump impeller which caused our boat to overheat. Lee's boat wouldn't start so we all just concentrated on dinner and refreshments that day.
That evening the Ventura group had a full blown Saint Patricks Day dinner with corned beef, pototatoes and all of the fixin's!

Dinner time! These folks do know how to cook up a mean dinner. Since it was Saint Patricks Day Weekend, they made a huge pot of several corned beef roasts, potatoes and even made up some fajitas and so much more. The Hererra's, Canley's, Clattor's and many more did so much to make this a great dinner and weekend.!!! |

While Trisha was helping to remove a trash bag from a trash can, the bag got hung up in the can and when Trisha reached in to clear it up, she cut her finger and tendon. We spent the remainder of the evening in the Ojai Hospital emergency room but everything was repaired and has a great weekend. |
