BIOGRAPHY OF LATOYA S aka ISA D

Born in Jamaica.  LaToya has lived in the States for over a decade.  LaToya has been singing and dancing since her early childhood.  Her early memories of singing to Rock & Roll, Reggae, and Country music which her father would play almost everyday.  Her father took pride in having little "Toya" (family nickname) at the age of three perform for friends and family at parties.  At the age of eight LaToya and her family moved to the US.  In high school LaToya started a girl group named La Vie in 1994.  The group felt apart but LaToya still had the dream of being successful in music.  So in 1998 when LaToya moved to Japan where she lived for two years.

She met Janis Dieter at a Base Talent Show. It wasn't until six months later that they met again and Forming Geminii.  The concept came to LaToya realizing that Janis and her were born under the same star sign.  While in Japan LaToya continued her modeling, Choreography and Singing.  Entering many local talent shows in Japan.  The girls won first place in many dance and vocal contest both solo and as the group Gemini.

From placeing first in vocalist category Geminii was asked to perform at another Summer Festival in Japan.  It was their that LaToya and Janis were discovered by one of Japan's finest producer and Artist Mackoto Sakurada.

The group Geminii is not recording anymore. LaToya and Janis are still friends and are doing well.
