Not Easy - Epilogue
“You’re going to be late,” Brian said through the small crack in the bathroom door.
“You always say it’s good to be fashionably late,” Justin replied.
“It’s not fashionable to be late to you own graduation.”
“Ok, ready,” Justin came out of the bathroom, “How do I look?”
He was wearing a dark navy blue suit that Brian got him as a graduation present. He looked absolutely incredible in it. The contrast between the dark suit and his light skin, his blonde hair, and especially his blue eyes made him look even more stunning than he already was.
Brian stuck his tongue in his cheek, his eyes taking in every feature of his beautiful lover. At twenty-two Justin was even better looking than when he met him. Looking older definitely worked for him.
Knowing the look on Brian’s face, Justin smirked, “Don’t get any ideas, stud.” He walked past him, “We’re gonna be late.”
“We have plenty of time.”
“No, we don’t. There’s one place I need to stop by first.” Justin grabbed the keys from the counter and headed toward the door.
Brian sighed, realizing that nothing was going to happen any time soon. He looked down at his hard penis, “Down, boy,” he mumbled, then followed his lover out.

Justin stood at his mother’s grave, looking down at the tombstone.
“Hi, mom,” he finally said. “Guess what? I’m graduating today. Finally. I still can’t believe it. Sorry, I haven’t been here lately. The last couple of months have been pretty crazy…with graduation and all the final projects and my new job. I love it, though. I get to use my own designs and it pays really well. And I think Brian’s finally getting used to the idea of me being able to pay for myself,” he chuckled. It was true, though. Brian was so used to taking care of him that it was taking him awhile to realize that he didn’t need to do that anymore.
“Molly’s doing great,” Justin continued, “She looks so much like you right now. AND she has a boyfriend. Of course dad is completely freaking out,” he laughed. “I thought he was going to give the poor guy a lie-detector test. I think as a big brother I’m handling it pretty well, though, relatively speaking.”
He knelt down. “And dad and Brian can actually be left in the same room alone together without killing each other. I guess that’s as good as it’ll ever get. Brian and I are doing great, surprisingly enough. Better than great, actually. We’ve never been closer, you know. It still amazes me that we’re together, especially after all the shit we’ve been through. Things are perfect. Well, as perfect as things can ever be when it comes to Brian, right?” he chuckled again.
“I should probably go,” he looked down at his watch, “Can’t be late for my graduation.” Justin stood up. “I love you.”

Brian pulled into a parking spot. Turning the car off, he gazed at his lover. Justin was looking out the window, not saying a word throughout the whole drive here.
“You ok?” Brian asked.
“Hmm?…Yeah,” Justin looked at him. “It’s just…I made it.”
“What?” Brian looked at him confused.
“College…I made it. I’m done.” Justin chuckled, “Wow. I fucking made it.” Up until that moment the realization hasn’t set in yet.
Seeing the huge grin on Justin’s face, Brian broke out in laughter as well.
They got out of the Jeep.
“You ready?” Brian asked, taking Justin’s hand.
“Yes,” Justin replied, still smiling.
The End.
