RabCanada

Ever-popular RabCanada has had folks nae fae Glesga on his page but only fae Paisley

Just a wee rundown on the ever sanitly RabC.

I was born in Paisley, Scotland which I left in 1973. I was an avid fitba player, my claim to fame was I got called up to replace Davie Hay when he signed with Celtic, but was too interested in other things, being only 15 at the time. In April 1973 I left Paisley to work building oil rigs in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada and have since lived in Saint John, New Brunswick and Cambridge, St. Catharines and now Bramalea, Ontario. I am married to Laura, a Nova Scotian, and have one son, Iain, who is 15. Laura has just closed down her own business that did Desktop Publishing and is now gainfully employed doing...mmm,Desktop Publishing. I work as an inspector at Chrysler Motors and have been with them since April 1987. Hey it keeps me off the welfare payrolls, right?

My pride and joy right now, is my 1996 Plymouth Minivan, a perk of being with Chyrsler, Big Discounts. I usually only keep my vehicle two years or so but this is a keeper, I hope. I was into darts bigtime until Iain got very involved with his hockey, which sadly, he has 'retired' from, I mean 8 days a week was too much??? I have played, and lost to the big shots from the dart world of the 80's including Jocky Wilson, Lowe, Bristow, to name just a few. I even did a local TV show on darts including commentaries on tournaments. Now, my interests lie here, on the internet. #Scotland was a great pleasure to find and I have to thank Fionna, or was it Kyanne, who noticed me on channel but never heard me say a word. I had problems as I could see everyone talk but somehow could not talk on any channels on Undernet. I have met some great people on #Scotland , I'm not mentioning any names as there have been so many. If you're reading this by just browsing, take a chance, head to #Scotland on the Undernet, IRC's Best Channel. Mar sin leat.
