Another Arson Attack on Vancouver Community Policing Centre

April 28. 2004

The Vancouver Sun has reported that on the night of April 28 a fire was set at the Grandview-Woodlands Community Policing Centre on Commercial Drive. The small fire burned through a plexiglass window which was installed because it had been repeatedly smashed, and the fumes from the torched plastic have made it too toxic for people to stay inside the building for long. The Community Policing Centre staff have set up a tent in the park outside the office.
