The number of the beast was realesed after their sucseess with Killers.
This was also the first album for Bruce Dickinson, who did a faboulus job on this album. It starts very fast with the very good song invaders. But so come one of the best songs on the album Children of the damned. Here shows Bruce what he is good for. Number of the beast have a lyrical part that many people didnt like. Iron Maiden got many people against them because people think the was a devil whorshipping band.
But i think also this album is a brilliant Maiden album. 666 The number of the beast!
