After the best debutalbum in the black metal genre ever, return Emperor with another masterpiece of
agressive black metal. Their start with Alsvartr (the oath), have much atmosphere but can be a little bit
boring in times.But all the others songs are killers, and the best song is one of the fucking best songs in the
develish black metal genre is Thus spake the nightspirit.
This album is not the mot melodic album in the genre, and thank Satan for that because without this
agressive and brutal song had this album never been a sucsess.
