"Walking Away From "Wit's End" |
People
who need the Lord sometimes come to a place called "wits
end" before they cry out unto the Lord.
"Psalm 107: 27-30 tells us: They reel to and fro, and stagger like a drunken man and are at their wit's end. Then they cry unto the Lord in their trouble, and he bringeth them out of their distresses. He maketh the storm a calm, so that the waves thereof are still. Then are they glad because they be quiet; so he bringeth them unto their desired haven."
Are you
standing at "Wit's End Corner?" Christians also can
sometimes feel they have arrived at "wit's end". Call
out unto the Lord and he will answer. He will lead you unto your
desired haven as he did those of the Bible.
Let
the words of the following poem
speak to you today.
The words will minister to your heart and are words to be shared
with others. God is able and will help you or those you
care for walk away from "wit's end" to their "best
friend" Jesus. Where else can we really go but to the
Lord? He will give help in time of trouble.
Yes, He is able!
