In this part, we have tried to present a short report about when and how this group was formed and also to introduce our activities .The group was formed in the late 1997 by seven persons who all were interested in astronomy .  According to their joint aims in different astronomical activities, they decided to unify whit each other and establish their own group.

Their most important aims were to do astronomical researches and to extend the astronomy science among the people. With a hard attempt, they finally formed the group’s main party.

Initially, the members of the main party made some internal rules for the group. According to these rules the group should have seven permanent members (the main party members) and some temporary members whom would be added later .The group’s supervisor is selected every three months by the main party members.

After a short while, some other members entered the group and the scientific activities began. First activities of the group were making scientific speeches, preparing educational booklets and having a few scientific and entertaining trips.

When the administrator of Adib Astronomical Society became interested in making some amateur groups, the members of this group decided to concentrate their activities in that society, because it could support the group. Finally the members began their work in the Adib Society with the name of Akhtarvash which means Quasar. Fortunately the group’s different activities were interesting for most of the members of Adib Society and some of them entered the group. Now the group has more than 40 active members.

Finaly in 2001'winter  the Iran's Akhtarvash Society was formed with suport of NGO of Iran.
