MUTE LAKES
"A Way Beneath..."
Mute
Lakes is founded in February of 1996 by Hristo Vesselinov Zdravkov and
Pavel Grozev. It is a big formation, including various musicians playing
in genre psychadellic-hypno-ambient-art and modern jazz styles. Some of
them played in "Peyote", "Project Ohluv" and e.t.c. The
songs and instrumentals are long, "taking you away" from the real time
and space and throwing you in deep trance ("Foreign"). All pieces are
played REAL-TIME, but recorded and digitally mastered in "Charisma"
Music Center from Harry Sarkisian. The music if frightened and leaked
with emptiness, visualizing the decadence of the European cultural model
of living and. It's "underground", but much more underground than the
conventional commercial recordings, which are calling themselves "underground";
it's against the process of reclericalization and life-aiming in "gods"
and "monsters"...; it's Jung's pure unconsciousness archetype of the man,
who's living in real and strong, deep times... Ancient dream in the future. This page supports downloading of two parts of "Mute Lakes" pieceworks The quality of the represented parts here are optimized for FASTEST downloading: 1.
"Foreign"
(64 min. whole, here 6:29 minutes - 859 KB.) In
the autumn of 1998 we (Hristo & Stefan) made a mute film at the Varna
shipyard graveyards - the length is 1h 12min, B/W, available on CD-ROM,
or on VT. The weather was very stormy, but the light was enough for taking
some great moments... |
