Lake Shore Siberian Husky Club was formed in June of 1999 by a local group of dedicated breed fanciers who live primarily in the area around the southern shores of Lake Michigan. Together they share a wealth of knowledge and experiences involving all aspects of this breed and wanted to help others learn about the breed dearest to their hearts........ The Siberian HuskyThe objective of the club is to:
(1) Encourage and promote quality in breeding of pure-bred Siberian Huskies and to do all that is possible to bring their natural qualities to perfection.
(2) To urge members and breeders to accept the standard of the breed as approved by the United Kennel Club as the only standard of excellance by which the Siberian Husky shall be judged.
(3) To do all in it's power to protect and advance the interest of the breed by encouraging sportman like conduct at dog shows and obedience trials.
(4) To conduct santioned, and licensed Specialty Shows, Obedience Trials under the rules of the UKC and AKC.
(5) To promote the education about the breed we love the Siberian Husky.
