WILLIAM1

There is some discrepancies in where William is buried. I have or have seen documents showing his final resting place as Northern MS,, Raleigh, Shelby Co, TN, Franklin Co, KY, and Owen Co. KY.
Franklin Co became Owen Co after William's death.
I grew up and recently moved from Raleigh and I had no luck finding his grave.
If anyone had documentation of where he lies, I would appreciate the info.

      William's brother and his cousin Jesse married Jemima sisters.

        In 1795 William's family started across the land with mules, horses, oxen, and all their belongings to                  explore a the new land of Kentucky Due to the dangers of Indian attacks they were forced to stay in a station for some time.

         William first settled in Franklin Co (now Owen Co) KY where two of his sons, William and Joseph lived and died.

              William, Jemima with sons Benjamin, Daniel, John, and Moses and their daughters moved to western KY.

Williiam was one of the commissioners who organzied Calloway Co. KY.
