Road Trip to York HD Open House...Sept. 30, 2000

Dave & I visited the York Harley Plant previously, saw the tour of the assembly line and the museum, however we never went to the Open House. Despite the fr-r-r-idgid---(br-r!!) morning air, 30-40 degree temps, we met Kevin, Lester, Murph, & Emil in Frackville and headed the 100 or so miles southeast taking the scenic route. The weather warmed up alot later, it was a great day! As expected there were many, many bikes. I LOVE riding my sporty, but times like this I think of being on the back with Dave to take pics of the great sites as your riding by. All the bikes on the highways and going in & out at the entrance was awesome! No time or space to stop in a traffic (bike) jam and take pics! : )
