ROCK Youth Group 3rd Annual Haunted House

"...it all began when the settlers wanted to build on the native Indian sacred burial ground, the Indians put a curse on the settlers and anyone else who would build on this site. First a prison was built, but alas, it didn't take long before the jailer became insane and tortured the prisoners. The good christians believed a church would be safe, since they didn't believe in curses or superstitions, but a horrid flesh-eating plague overtook all the parishoners. Up to this day, the curse continues as a young couple disappeared on this very site. The girl was last seen, near this area, the girls crys for help still heard by some. They say her boyfriend was hung and would never be able to save her..."

Ok! Ok!...all just in fun and for a good cause, we collected about $50 of nonperishable food items for the local food pantry and $64.00 for the ELCA World Hunger Appeal....in just two short hours that we were open to the public---Gee! all that preparation and only TWO HOURS! sheesh!

What a sweet bunch of creatures & ghouls! : )
