Miller Model Boats
Welcome.
This site was set up to tell you a little about the history of the Oil Tanker models, the Robert and Amanda Miller.
It started about 7 years ago, when my brother and I started building model boats.  Born and raised in Brisbane Qld, Australia, we watched the Robert Miller being built at the Evans Deakins Ship Yards. Some years later my brother decided to build a model of the Robert Miller.  After the closure of the Dock Yard a set of plans to the Robert Miller were given to a former employer of the dockyards, who then passed them onto Mark.  Unfortunately due to age the plans are no longer in existance.
After about 12 months of gathering details and other bits and pieces, he started to build the model.  After three years of headaches and frustration it finally hit the water.
