| Importance: Yue is the gaurdian, which means his basic function is protect the Card Captor (who just happens to be Sakura. His false form is none other than Yukito Tsukishiro. Yue was originally Clow Reed's creation and guardian. When Sakura discovered him, he dislikes her and forces her to prove that she is worthy to be his master. Of course, he comes to love to her just as everyone else. Yue's powers are derived from the moon and darkness, opposite of Keroberos. Deep down inside there still beats the heart of a human, who loves Sakura, Touya, and all those around him. Personality: Yue appears as cold and distant. At first, he disliked Sakura because she was not Clow Reed. Before her, Clow Reed was the Master of course, and Yue deeply admired him. Yue was devastated when his master died, and eventually accepted Sakura after he saw how powerful she is. Even with the title as guardian, he is still loyal and very wise. Yue also possesses wisdom as well. |
| Importance: Like Yue, Ruby is also a guardian, except she is only Eriol's guardian. She and Yue are opposites in every way. Her powers is derived from light, while Yue's darkness. But she doesn't look like an angel nor does she act like one. She has a huge crush on Touya (Maybe it's because Yukito does) and tries to get him constantly when she in her false form as Nakuru. She protects Eriol with her life, and was created by Eriol along with Spinel Sun. Also, like Yue, they are also not human nor a beast. Personality: Ruby Moon is very fiesty and also annoying too. Most of the time, she's seen clinging all over Touya and pestering him all the time. She is also mischievious and very playful. I guess that's why Yue doesn't like her too much. Ruby is also loud and very obnoxious. |
