Months passed and AJ and Trisha finally did get together because the attraction was mutual. Jennifer and Brian became closer and closer as friends. Brian eventually did get over Nikki.

"Jenny, Trish we want you guys to meet us at the restaurant that over looks the ocean on Sunrise Boulevard. Be there at seven." the answering machine blared as Jennifer played her messages.

Jennifer smiled...she never got tired of Brian calling her and leaving messages. She pressed the fast forward button to listen to the next message.

"I JUST CALLED TO SAY I LOVE YOU. I JUST CALLED TO SAY HOW MUCH I CARE. I JUST CALLED TO SAY I LOVE YOU. AND I MEAN IT FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART." Brian sang into the answering machine.

"Jen, what the hell is that music?" Trisha yelled from the bathroom.

Jennifer stopped the answering machine and stood outside the bathroom door.

"It was Brian singing, 'I Just Called To Say I Love You.' Isn't that the sweetest thing? By the way what are you doing? You've been in there for an hour."

She put her ear to the door only to hear the blow dryer going full blast. Jenny started to knock on the door. The door flung open and out came Trish wearing a red snake skin skirt and a black v-neck shirt.

"Wow! Trisha! You look incredible! Did you already know about the dinner?"

Trisha nodded and spun around so Jen could get the full view of the outfit.

"And, my friend, Have I got an awesome outfit for you!" Trisha handed Jennifer a shopping bag. Inside was a black leather halter top and a red leather skirt.

"Are we supposed to be twins or something? Red and black? Sounds kind of devilish." Jennifer winked at Trisha as she took the bag and went into the bathroom to change.

When Jennifer emerged from the bathroom she looked just as amazing as Trish had. They grabbed their purses and headed towards the restaurant. When they pulled into the parking lot they saw Brian's car in the reserved space. Trisha parked right next to Brian's car.

The two girls walked into the restaurant. It was completely empty. Not a person in sight.

"What on earth?" Trish whispered.

All of a sudden Brian and AJ appeared out of no where. They led the girls to a table in the middle of the deserted restaurant.

"Brian what' s going on?"

"Shhh." Brian said putting a finger to her lips "let me get a good look at you! DAMN!"

AJ cleared his throat, "Trish, this is my way of telling you thank you for making me so happy for the past couple months. Yet, we have to tell you something very important."

"Jen, Trish, what AJ and I have to tell you is that we are going on tour and we will be away for a very long time," Brian said sitting down.

Trisha gasped slightly, "When does it start?"

"In a month, that's why we want to spend as much time with you girls as we can," AJ said.

Jennifer remained silent as Brian awaited an reaction. Brian put his hand on hers and smiled.

"Well, I guess we'll just have to make plans to hang out more." Jennifer said with an odd look in her eyes.

"I'm glad you brought that up, Jennifer, because Brian and I are taking you on a cruise tomorrow. It's only for a week, but I guarantee you it will be a blast!"

Trisha's eyes lit up, "Are you serious?!"

AJ nodded. Trisha wrapped her arms around AJ's neck and kissed him. Brian looked at Jennifer hoping to get the same but she just hugged him.
