"Nick, dude you gotta meet this girl that I met. Her name is Jennifer. She is beautiful and she is just so wonderful, and Nikki, is out of the picture!" Brian told his best friend excitedly.
Nick cleared his throat, "Look, man. Nikki really did something wrong but I don't think falling in love with the first girl you meet is gonna help you a bit !"
" I never said I was in love with her I just said she was pretty and very nice. After all, I don't want any more relationships for a long time."
Brian soon ended the conversation with Nick. When he hung up the phone he looked for his private journal that no one knew he had when he found it he wrote : I met a girl not too long ago. Her name is Jennifer. She is the sweetest girl I have ever met. And when we saw Nikki she pretended to be my girlfriend! How cool is that? I like her a lot but geez I really am not wanting to be with anyone anymore. All women are just completely cruel. Nikki is proof of that. I will never have another relationship again!
Brian re-read what he had written. It sounded so cold and evil but it was how he was feeling. Soon he decided to give Jen a call. He dialed the number that she had given him.
"Hello?" a voice answered (Trisha)
"Is Jennifer there?" Brian asked
"Just a sec."
Brian could hear whispering in the background and the phrase backstreet boys whispered a few times.
"Hello?"
"Um, Jennifer, this is Brian. I don't know if you remember me from the other day at the coffee shop?"
It was silent on the other end but she soon spoke a little excitedly, "Oh my gosh! Brian Littrell, yes, of course I remember you!! How's it going!?"
He smiled at her enthusiasm, "Pretty good.. uh, Jen, I was wondering if it's no bother would you like to go to the beach with me sometime?"
"Sure, but there is a bit of a problem." she hesitated.
"And that would be.....?"
"My best friend Trisha we have known each other since like we were three, has the hugest crush on AJ and maybe we could double date." she emphasized.
Brian was wondering if AJ would actually be up to it.
"Uh, yeah sure!" Brian said uncertainly.
So, Jen and Brian made arrangements to meet the next day at the beach. When they hung up Brian wasn't quite happy with what he had done. He knew he still loved Nikki and that he didn't want to fall in love anymore, but Jennifer was different. Brian picked up his phone again to call AJ.
"Yo Pimp .. whazzzzup?"
"Hey B-Rok, whatcha want?"
Brian didn't say anything at first because he knew AJ didn't like double dates or blind dates and this was a bit of both.
"I need you to do me a huge favor."
"No dude!"
"what?"
AJ laughed, "Just raggin ya!"
Brian was relieved,"There is this girl and I just met her and I wanna take her to the beach like a date, and well, she has this best friend that she has known all her life and she kinda wants to double date you, me, Jen, and the friend."
"I see."
"And well, this Jennifer girl did me a huge favor at the coffee shop by pretending to be my new girl friend at the coffee shop in front of Nikki, so I wanna do her this favor."
AJ began laughing really hard, "Have you seen this chick?"
"Yeah, her name is Trisha." Brian said "She's gorgeous."
Brian didn't even know if she was all that pretty but he really wanted to hang out with Jennifer again. He at least hoped the Trisha girl was cute.
"If you say so dude... sure I'll do it, but she better be hot."
"Okay be there tomorrow at noon, alright?"
"Yeah, Rok... talk to you tomorrow."
Brian was very pleased with himself now. He began to write in his journal again: Well now I have a double date with Jennifer, Trisha, and AJ. I know, I know there is just something about this Jennifer girl. I don't want a relationship at all. Just friendship because no doubt she will be just like Nikki, and if I don't get involved I won't get hurt. I will be single for a very long time now. I'm sure the fans will be happy, they knew Nikki was bad news.
