Chapter 1
Michelle kept waiting outside the SegaWorld impatiently for her parents. She had got bored waiting inside the limo. Glancing her watch, she noticed there were plenty of time for her to take a look around the shops next to SegaWorld before her parents got out of their appointment.
Michelle Colback was the daughter of Josephine and Ralph Colback, the owners of the Colback Computer Company. It wasn’t everyday she travelled with her parents when they were attending lots of business meetings. She’d prefer having their whole mansion to herself than being stuck in a hotel room.
“YESS!!!” shouted Kyra exictedly as she won an extra ticket from the computer game she was playing. She searched for her bag but remembered that she had forgot it in the tourbus. Digging the tickets in her jean’s pocket, her eyes looked around for her brother. She and Nick had begged to stop by SegaWorld on their way to home, to play a game or two. The other guys had to agree with them, there was no way to win the argument made with the two most addicted Nintendo fans. Not to get noticed, they were all wearing baseball caps and glasses, so she looked carefully at every guy with a cap but none of them was her brother, or one of the other guys. She panicked a bit but calmed down when she decided to go back to the tour bus which was parked outside of the building.
Michelle chose a top from the shelf and decided to buy it but then remembered that she had forgotten her purse in the limo. Shrugging she put the top back on the shelf. She went out of the shop to take her purse..
Kyra went out of the SegaWorld and this time got worried when she couldn’t see the big silver bus where it was parked. Then she remembered the times when there was a fan alarm. There’d have been another one when the guys were using the secret exits of the buildings. She started walking down the street with that on her mind, when a uniformed man stopped her.
“Thank god Miss, I’ve finally found you. Come please follow me.” He said worriedly as he gently held Kyra’s arm and made her walk towards a big black limo.
“Wait...wait a minute, where are we going? I don’t know you!” Kyra spoke angrily and rescued her arm, stopping in the middle of the street.
“I’m your driver Miss, please be quick otherwise you’ll miss your flight which will make your parents got angry. Y’know how much they hate to be late to somewhere.”
“I don’t know what you’re talking about, my parents are back in Kentucky right now! Where are the guys?” she asked panicking.
“Please Miss, don’t make me use force. I don’t want to get fired.” He said taking her arm and made her sit down in the car, she tried to escape but the driver had already shut the door. There was a couple sitting across her, she then noticed.
They were talking with each other and paid no attention to her. The woman was looking beautiful in her navy skirt and jacket which matched perfectly with her blonde hair and blue eyes. On the other hand, the man had a dark grey suit, his short blond-grey hair combed backwards and her soft brown eyes were sparkling. When they were passing by SegaWorld, she saw Brian entering where she was supposed to be, the tour bus. She tried to open the door but it was locked. She started hitting limo’s windows with her hands, which caught Ralph and Josephine’s attention. Suddenly, their daughter rolled the window down, pulled the upper part of her body out of the window and started shouting:
“BRIAN!” yelled Kyra in tears. “BRIAN!! HELP ME!! GUYS!!! I’M RIGHT HERE!!”
Brian stopped for a minute and looked out of the window of the tour bus.
“Did you hear someone calling my name?” asked he to AJ.
“Nope. But it must be an another crazy fan.” AJ answered back.
“Where’s Kyra?”
“Must be somewhere around.”
“She was supposed to be here already. Tell Lonnie to find her.” Brian commanded.
“Alright.” AJ said, leaving the kitchenette to find Lonnie, one of their bodyguards.
After he left, Brian again looked outside, thinking where the voice came from. “But it wasn’t a fan.” He mumbled sitting down.
Kyra pulled herself back inside the limo. Brian had heard her and even had looked at her side but though she had waved her arms as could as possible, he hadn’t noticed her. And now the limo was already on the motorway.
“What did you mean by doing such an insane thing?” spoke the man angrily.
“I was trying to get away from here, you have a problem with that?” she replied obnoxiously.
“Young lady, you’re better stop before...”
“Before what? Who the hell are you two?” she spoke angrily.
“We’re your mother and father and unless you stop talking like that by now, you’ll be grounded.” Repremanded the blonde woman.
“Aww, I’m so afraid, please don’t do that!” said she sarcastically as she rolled her eyes but then stopped. What the fuck those two meaned with mother and father??
“Look, there’s a lil problem right here, i’m not your daughter, i have never seen you two before in my entire life and now let me go...” she said as she reached for the handle, this time sure to go out of that damn limo. But the man moved before her and locked the door.
“You’re grounded till Monday. I don’t want any more words.” He commanded.
Kyra scoffed. What was going on there?
Michelle went out of the shop as her beautiful brown eyes searched for the black limo but couldn’t see it anywhere. Looking around, she saw a tall black man coming towards her.
“There you are! Girl, we’ve been looking for you everywhere!” he said and held her hand, leading towards a big silver bus.
“We have to be quick, those crazy fans started crowding around the building.”
“Pardon me?” Michelle said politely. “Where are we going? I was looking for our limo...”
“What limo are you talking about girl? Be quick, got into the bus!” the man said and pushed her towards the bus. She just stood there baffled when she saw a guy coming near her.
“Finally you’re here! Haven’t we told you to directly come back to bus after you’re done? Brian will take the shit out of you this time.” Spoke the guy, his arms were covered in tattoos.
“I don’t know what you’re talking about....” stuttered Michelle. But that tattoed guy had already pulled her inside the bus. She looked around, for such a bus it seemed quite comfortable. Though she couldn’t figure out what was going on, she had liked it. She’d prefer to be there than to be with her parents. She walked down the small aisle and found a door coming noises from inside. She opened it hesitantly and poked her head inside. There was a little blond boy sitting on the floor, playing Playstation.
“Hey Kyra wassup?” he said.
“Kyra?”
“Brian was so worried about you...”
“Brian?” Michelle echoed questionably.
“Yeah, i guess he’ll ground you this time. Wanna play?” he offered the other controller.
“No thanks.” Michelle walked inside and sat down on the couch, watching little boy playing.
“Are you sure you don’t wanna play?” said the blond boy looking at her face suspiciously, after a few minutes of silence.
“Yes. Actually I don’t know how to play...”
“You don’t know how to play?!” echoed lil boy in shock.
“Yeah, though my father is very involved with computers...” mentioning her father’s name, made her think about them for a minute, whom she could be able to see once in a week or fortnight. They were always busy and had no time to spend with their daughter. But this cute lil boy and that tattoed guy seemed to be really nice. And they both had mentioned about a guy called Brian.
“I haven’t heard that Uncle Harold was involved with computers before. You’d just told me that he was into sports.”
“Oh, my father’s name’s not Harold, it’s Ralph.” Michelle corrected. His blond head turned towards her, with a pair of suspicous eyes.
“You sure you’re feeling ok today?” he asked. Before she could answer, the door opened and another blond guy entered and collapsed next to the lil boy, taking the other controller.
“Are you ready to be beaten by your big brother Aaron?” said that blonde guy laughing.
“Everybody knows you’re a total loser Nick!!” said Aaron. “Right Kyra?” Michelle just smiled to assure them and they started playing.
Then again, the door opened and another guy came in, who was slightly shorter than Nick, looking angry.
“Where have you been Kyra?” he spoke, standing in front of Michelle, his arms folded across his chest.
“I was just looking around at some shops.” Michelle stammered. Though her name wasn’t Kyra, she felt that the question was asked to her. She saw that tattoed guy entering the room and sitting next to her.
“You’ll be grounded when we go back home. You know the rules about the tour, especially if there is a fan alarm.” He grumbled.
“C’mon B-rok, take it easy...”said the tattoed guy.
“No AJ, she knows the rules and we couldn’t be able to find her in that crowd!” yelled Brian angrily, pointing Michelle.
“I’m sorry.” Apologized she meekly, tears welled up in her eyes. Brian squated down in front of her and took her hands between his’.
“I’m sorry too. But you can guess how afraid i was when i couldn’t find you. Understand me?” he said, relented. Michelle nodded but she couldn’t understand it. This was something totally new for her. Nobody had ever got really worried for her. Her parents were fake, everything about them was fake. Their anger, love, sweet words. As Brian hugged her tightly, she felt herself very comfortable in his arms, though she knew nothing about this sweet guy
“Hey.” Said a tall black man entering inside, and threw a backpack to Michelle. “You’ve forgot that outside.” And he faded as Michelle caught it clumsily.
“Promise me not to do it again.” Said Brian in a funny voice.
“I promise.” Said Michelle smiling.
“HA-HA!!! I WON!!!”
