HSU - a.k.a Hestia State University to the public, Ho State University to those in know - was initially established to save a Jedi in need. Obi-Wan Kenobi, more commonly known on campus as The General, has been rescued from a life of facial gerbilization, bad mullet hair, and the burden of a whiny Backstreet Boy (BSB) padawan. More importantly, it became a retreat for every Ho, Wo, and a couple Wenches to live however they like with whomever they like and buy as many shoes as humanly possible.

The campus has now expanded beyond General adoration to include other men - knows as EA's (External Affair) and EF's (External Flirtation) - for those who want them. Each EA/EF belongs to his respective Ho/Wo, with great bodily injury befalling any other who would try to touch them. "Ungrateful" is the Diva vernacular for referring to a grrl who loves someone else besides the General. "Grateful" are those strictly monogamous with the General.

HSU is located in Estrogen County on the site of former kingdom of Queen Gettalay, Estrogen County's historical Uber Ho. A large diamond mine was discovered under the campus, turning out to be the hidden treasures of Queen Gettalay, and it, along with the treasury of Naboo and Offworld's offshore accounts, has become the source of HSU funding.

The General serves as President of HSU, although the real power lies with the Board of Directors, made up of staff members and upperclass students.

HSU's nemeses include Wanker College (WC) and The Princess Academy (PA), run by a bunch of screeching harpies who stop at nothing to infiltrate HSU in order to capture the General for themselves.

What is a Ho? A Ho is a take-back term, something men do not have permission to call us but that we use in speaking to each other all the time. A Ho does not tolerate the arrogant alpha male. She demands respect from her partner and vice versa, seeing herself in equal partnership with her man. She won't tolerate being ordered around, nor does she want a man who would let himself be ordered around by her. A Ho doesn't take any shit from anybody, shooting straight from the hip with her opinions or mobile phone.

A Wench is the other end of the spectrum from a Ho. She adores the arrogant alpha male and is rather fond of chintz and happy colors. The Wench's trademarks are her deadly doe eyes and her speciality is seeing to the alpha male's needs.

A Wo is a cross between a Wench and a Ho, falling somewhere in the middle of the two opposites.
