"So how'd it go?" Tara asked when she saw Kendra and Ellie stroll into the bar.
"Piece of cake," Kendra gleamed as she went behind the bar and began to help restock as Judy rolled the mobile unit into the backroom. "The General said an evening jog would be a nice change of pace."
"Yep, nice change of pace," Ellie grinned as she sat on the abandoned barstool beside Tara as Judy now approached the gathered Ho's.
"Change of pace for what?" Judy questioned as she suddenly spotted an item on her luxury bar top that had no coaster. "Excuse me...and what exactly is this?" She demanded as she picked up the neon pink spritz bottle and Ellie suddenly pointed to Kendra.
"Oh, sorry, forgot about the bar," Kendra winced as she knew that look in her Master's eye...one did not forget Judy's new mahogany bar!
"Since when do you carry a spritz bottle?" Judy groaned as the Ho quickly picked it up and placed it onto her belt loop.
"Since I found out at the calendar shoot how good it works on the General," she gleamed as Ellie rolled her eyes and Tara considered the good points herself.
"Kendra, what does the General have to say about this?"
"Well, I've only tried it a few times...at the photo shoot to be honest...I'm just dying to try it out later."
"Don't you think this addiction you seem to have is getting a little out of hand?" Judy sighed as she cleaned the bar where the offending bottle had sat.
"Exactly!" Ellie loudly agreed as Kendra glare at her.
"No! I'm just being prepared, that's all," the Ho objected. "Besides El, don't even start on my water fetish when I still have problems with your claw boy!"
"Hey, I've talked to Logan about shredding the shower curtain," Ellie corrected.
"Yeah right...just like you talked to him about shredding the pillows on the couch and lets not even bring up the waterbed incident...you know he's never even apologized for that," Kendra exclaimed.
"As I recall you happened to like those claws when I brought him home...and...and...you just have issues with him, that's all!"
"Issues, I'll show you issues, what about that..."
"Grrls! Enough!" Judy loudly shouted as Tara winced. "Don't make me bring out the bat..." She threatened as both Ho's looked at her with wide eyes. "Kendra, you go spritz the General, Ellie you go talk to Logan about...about whatever it is you talk about...and remember, stop griping!"
"Fine."
"Fine."
"Ah Judy, do those two always...well are they always like that?" Tara softly asked once the two roomies left the bar.
"Yeah, pretty much," Judy grinned before breaking out the linseed oil once more.

After Kendra ran off to find the General and practice her spritzing, Ellie headed to her office to check her inbox. She'd heard something about a new grrl on campus and was expecting an EA form to appear in her inbox any day now. After lighting a cigarette and sitting down at the small wooden desk, Ellie then turned to the small metal tray on the corner of the desk. In it lay a lone piece of paper. She knew what it was without picking it up. She tried a skill Obi-Wan had been teaching her in telekinesis and floated the paper a few inches so it was within her reach. She smiled and picked up the flimsy paper and eagerly awaited the next tasty treat to arrive on campus. But what her eyes fell upon was not what she expected. Sitting there innocently staring up at her from the page was Logan's name! Well! How dare some new grrl come in here and edge on her turf?
Ellie leaned back in the old desk chair and puffed on the cigarette, her brow furrowed in frustration. Then she leaned forward elbows on the desk and grumbled some more. She looked down and her eye caught the yellow tinged paper she'd been working on earlier. Yes, she had been drafting a telegraph to Dr. Jones, but never sent it. Perhaps, sharing wouldn't be so bad. True, her Master had never taught her that art, but it would give her more time with the General. And if she could con...er persuade the good doctor to come fill the University's head of anthropology position, then she'd need even more time. Plus, there was the possibility that Syd would return after hockey season and he'd have some make up boinking to do for leaving the way he did.
Visions of sexy men swirled around Ellie's head as the thick smoked swirled its way to the open window. After crushing out the cig, she pulled the special quill pen Darry had given her and approved the application. She'd get Kendra to witness and the General to sign it later.
Satisfied, she lit another cigarette and headed off to tell Logan the news.

"She's had some sort of experience with your type in the past, so don't expect her to take any crap from you," Ellie informed the hairy man in front of her puffing a cigar as he lounged in an oversized papason. "She'll send for you when she wants, otherwise you can just stay here as usual."
"You'll always be my woman." It was a statement more than a question, but Ellie could tell Logan was slightly concerned he was losing his favorite playtoy.
Ellie sat down in his lap and nuzzled his ear. "You'll always be my Wolverine. Growl for me baby."
Loud snarling ensued as the two *censored*.

"Hey, Ky, do you happen to have the phone number to that amusement park on the other side of town?" Kendra asked as she placed her hand over the phone's mouthpiece as she sat at her desk.
"NO!" Kymira replied as she opened the door to the General's office for her appointment. " I'm here to be punished...STUD..." Ky could be heard saying as the door closed and the General's secretary resumed her phone conversation.
"That's not the one I want...I want those spritzer bottles with the fans attached...yeah...exactly, the ones everyone walks around with while at your amusement park... I don't care what the cost is to have it delivered from Florida...just do it...I need as many as I can get...and no I don't need mouse ears...I'll take those cute little duck bill hats though...fine...send it to..." Kendra continued to chat.

Later that evening:
Laure and Shana stood at the open window leaning casually against the sill as they watched the General stretch for his evening run. He was surrounded by a few Frosh Ho's who tried to not swoon at the sight of the man in black silk running shorts and black tank top, but needless to say the Ho's quickly lost the battle when he did those cute little squat thrusts.
"So want to take bets on how long that new grrl in the green lasts?" Shana grinned.
"Alright I'll take your bet but I think my new Frosh in the blue there will outlast your grrl any day," Laure nodded.
"My grrl against your grrl...then it's a bet!" Shana stated, "for what though?"
"Just for amusement," the mediator smiled as the General began to jog and bodies were dropping.
"Damn...both our grrls lost it at the five yard mark!" Shana exclaimed, "they just don't make them like they used to..."

"Water?" Kendra asked sweetly as she waited patiently for the General to end his evening jog.
"That would be lovely," he answered before taking a deep breath.

"There, all better?" The spritz wielding Ho asked as the General wiped the water from his face and ran a hand through his now damp hair.
"Much," the General sighed loudly as he furrowed his brow then leaned over and kissed his secretary soundly and walked to the Admin building.
"Wow, that worked great!" Tara giggled as she watched the General walk away and she could catch the glint of water rolling down his neck.
"Didn't it though," Kendra smiled, "if you think that was good, just wait till what I ordered comes in."
"Ordered what?" Ellie asked as she and Jen walked up.
"Oh nothing...what's that?"
"Just a message from Air, Sea and Rescue for Emmy," Jen stated as the group headed to the bar.
"I thought that was for Emmy?" Tara asked as she noticed the group ignoring the Admin building.
"It is...how important could it be, probably just a bill for all the man hours spent looking for Dorotea and Xani or something...I'll give it to her later." Ellie stated, "but first I could use a good drink."
"Oh..." Tara thought aloud as they seated themselves at the bar to order drinks.
