"Just relax this will work," Ellie whispered as she and Kendra tried to sneak down the stairs in the middle of the night without being noticed.

"I'm trying, I just can't believe I let you talk me into this," Kendra groaned as she followed behind the Ho at a slower pace.

"Me? You're the one who demanded I think of something after you hid under the bed in your room when Judy came to check on you," El smirked as the front door to the lodge was just within sight.

"Hey, I had to go somewhere! Just where did Logan put the boxes?"

"Right outside the door," Ellie explained as she opened the door and grabbed one box then quickly threw it at Kendra and then reached down to grab the other box while shutting the lodge door with her foot. When she turned around she yelped in shock and promptly dropped the box she was holding.

"What's your problem?" Kendra griped, "you'd think you saw the General or worse yet Judy, sheesh!" And with that the Ho turned and ran smack into the General who was standing there with his arms across his chest. Even in the low light of the room they could see the glint in his eyes at this bungled mission.

"Well, would you two like to explain what you're doing?" The General asked as he glanced at both grrls. "And what's this about Judy? Are you still avoiding her over that bar incident Kendra? I thought we agreed the other day that you'd tell her it was an accident. It was an accident wasn't it?"

"Well you see...I mean...we were just going to work on this puzzle thingy here...and yes I'm still avoiding Judy...and yes I think it was an accident I destroyed her bar and truth is she's going to kill me and you know it...and no I didn't agree to anything, you agreed."

"How are you at gluing?" Ellie suddenly asked as she looked at the General. ~~*~~

"This will never work," the General smirked as he waited for his section of stirrer sticks to dry. "Why I let you two talk me into this I'll never know," he mumbled as Kendra and El just looked at each other and smiled.

"Because you like us," Ellie grinned as Kendra nodded her head in agreement. "Besides, for some reason you kinda like Ken here as your secretary and you know that if we don't come up with a bat for Judy...Ken is history," the Ho gleamed.

"Hey you don't have to say that like the idea appeals to you," Kendra snapped as the General chuckled. "And you either," the secretary ordered as she looked to see his eyes full of mischief.

"Well it is true, I've grown quite fond of you and your ways," he tactfully replied "however I must admit you have run into a spell of bad luck lately."

"Are you making fun of my arrow incident?" Kendra demanded as she shifted uncomfortably in her seat.

"Never!" The General gasped in shock.

"Yeah right, like he said!" Ellie exclaimed before they both burst into a fit of laughter.

"Fine! Whatever! Laugh it up...here I am nearly on death's doorstep and you two are enjoying it!" Kendra griped as she slathered more glue onto a hand full of sticks.

"We're not laughing at you love, but with you," the General tried to explain with too much mirth as the laugh he was trying to hide finally burst forth and he and Ellie were near tears in amusement.

"Maybe it's just me...but I don't recall laughing," the wounded Ho grumbled.

"I'm sorry, but its funny," Ellie apologized as she leaned against the General for support as she tried to calm down. "If you could have only seen your face and lets not even bring up the fact that you had an arrow sticking out of your ass...priceless!"

"Priceless my ass!" Kendra snapped as both broke out in fresh laughter at the other Ho's choice of words. "Great! I'm glad you two find this so amusing, enjoy it for all its worth, who knows maybe you'll both have more to laugh about if we can't make these damn stirrer stick thingys look like a bat!" She huffed before throwing her mass of glued sticks to the table and going into the kitchen.

"You know we really shouldn't laugh," the General sighed as he looked at Ellie and both broke into a fit of uncontrolled laughter once again.

"Judy what the hell are you doing up at this late hour?" Ellie exclaimed as the bar keep stumbled towards the kitchen still half-asleep.

"I was watching some movies with Laure and Emmy and decided I could use a late night snack," Judy replied. "What are you two doing?" She asked as she motioned to the glue and scattered sticks and something that half resembled a bat sitting on the table.

"Judith we can explain," the General interjected as he quickly stood up to block her entrance into the kitchen where her Padawan was fixing hot chocolate.

"Explain, explain what?" Judy questioned as sleepiness was suddenly replaced by suspicion as things began to slowly fall into place with what the General and Ellie were doing. "I can't believe this? You two...how could you...that's not my? Where the hell is my Padawan?" She demanded loudly as she was answered by a loud crash from the kitchen and Kendra slowly opened the door and slipped into the room to stand behind the General.

"Judy, how are you?" Kendra innocently smiled as she watched her Master look from the pathetically glued bat to her Padawan. "Well you see, I can explain...I mean, I think I can? Well it's like this...we needed drink stirrer sticks and while you were wenchy you refused to order them so I had them...made."

"Made? You freakin cut my bat to shreds!" Judy bellowed as she clenched her fists, then suddenly grabbed the bat from the table, only to have it break into pieces and fall in the floor with a sickeningly wet thud.

"The glue hasn't had a chance to set," Ellie stated as Judy glared at her. "It was all Kendra's fault!" She quickly added as she pointed to her roomie.

"Now Judith dear, this is all a big misunderstanding, I'm sure Kendra didn't mean to destroy your bat," the General interjected as he held his hands up in a calming gesture.

"No...atleast I don't think so...I mean...I'm not sure...and Dande seems to thing I have this slight problem with guilt...so maybe I did but still...Judy I'm so sorry...I mean if you don't like this one, I'll buy you a new bat." Kendra stammered before her upset Master began throwing wet globby pieces of bat at her Padawan but nailed the General in the chest and face instead.

"Oh hell!" The General grumbled as Judy started speaking in what could best be described as tongues and hurling the remainder of her bat at anything that moved as Kendra, the General and Ellie ran into the kitchen and held the door shut.

"See, I told you she'd freak," Kendra groaned.

"Great, just how long will we be stuck in here?" Ellie griped as they could still here wood chunks slap against the door and sticking.

"Atleast we won't starve," the General sighed as Kendra pulled a chunk of bat off his cheek.

"True, very true, and I do think Judy is taking this well...considering. And this could be a new start...it feels so good to finally have things come into the light," the General's secretary smiled.
