Wenchawan 1/1

"Brrng, Brrrng"

Dorotea groaned, tearing her face away from Xanatos'. "Who the hell keeps calling?" She complained.

"Ignore it, baby," Xanatos whispered, burying his face in her neck.

Dorotea ignored Xanatos and began rooting around the clutter in the back-seat of the Volvo for the offending phone. She finally found it and turned it off, tossing it over Xanatos' shoulder into the mess in the cargo area.

Dorotea had just recaptured Xanatos' lips when someone began banging on the windows of the car. They tried to ignore it, but it kept getting louder and more persistent.

"I know you're in there, I can see the car rocking! Open up, it's an emergency!" Brenda shouted.

Dorotea groaned again, if Brenda was shouting, it must be an emergency. "Fuck," she muttered, crawling off Xanatos' lap.

"I'm trying," Xanatos smirked.

Dorotea ignored Xanatos and rolled down the window. "Is someone dying?" She asked Brenda.

"No, but.."

"Then why are you interrupting me?" Dorotea exclaimed as Xanatos raked his hands over her body, oblivious to Brenda's openmouthed stare.

"Um, well, you need to return him to the Nurse, pronto!" Brenda said, trying to pretend like she couldn't see anything.

Dorotea narrowed her eyes at Brenda. "Why?" She asked.

"Well, Emmy has disappeared into the mine with the OG; Diebin is with the General, but wearing a tiara; the General's padawan is gone, but the General still isn't wearing black; and Darry has moved into the Tower with the wench!"

Dorotea eyes widened and she swallowed nervously. "Okay, the important thing is to stay calm!" She shrieked, opening the car door and jumping out of the car, causing Xanatos to fall out.

He sat on the floor of the garage and gave Dorotea a "look". "Excuse me, but weren't we in the middle of something?"

Dorotea ignored him. "Darry is Dande's Wenchawan?"

Brenda nodded gravely. "And my Master has disappeared in the mines."

Dorotea shrugged. "Don't worry about that, she's an alpha ho and its her birthday; she's gonna want to do the OG more than once. We can't let Darry go to the wenchside though. The General's condition is delicate enough...we don't want another 'incident'," Dorotea sighed heavily and looked sorrowfully at Xanatos, who was now leaning against the Volvo, brushing his long, black hair out of his cobalt eyes. "I guess I have to return him," Dorotea sulked.

Dorotea grabbed Xanatos' hand. "Come on, Xani, having Darry on the greyside is workable, but if she goes to the wenchside....that could cause a cosmic disruption. You have to go back to her and make her forget this wench thing."

"As you wish, baby. I live to serve your needs," Xanatos purred.

"Plus, I'm running out of Band-Aids."

********************************

Dorotea knocked on the Tower door. Dande opened it and the loud sound of Duran Duran's Rio came blaring forth. Dande smiled sweetly at Dorotea and put a protective hand over stomach at the sight of Xanatos.

"You wait here for a minute," Dorotea directed Xanatos, before turning and following Dande into the tower.

"I'm so glad you're here Dorotea," the wench lilted. "I have a wenchawan! She is strong on the wenchside. She has picked up denial already, now I just need to make her understand the difference between saucy and bitchy. She's having quite a bit of trouble with that."

Dorotea cleared her throat. "I can imagine. Dande," Dorotea put her hand on Dande's shoulder. "I love you. You know that, right? I mean despite all the Crispy Old Dead Guy comments...you know, I'll always be a wench, a very alternative wench, but...still, you know, right?"

The wench smiled, befuddled by Dorotea's comments. Dorotea wasn't normally demonstrative, a thought passed through the wench's brain, but was swept away by adoration and mourning for the CODG. "I know, Dorotea. I understand."

Dorotea nodded, her eyes drifting to where Darry sat, almost comatose, crimping her hair while chanting, "It was dark it could have been anyone on that horse."

"Dande, I hate to do this to you, but..." Dorotea opened the door and motioned for Xanatos to come in and then tapped Darry's shoulder.

Xanatos sauntered in, his ebony hair falling perfectly over his midnight-blue eyes. Darry's eyes locked on the man dressed in tight leather pants and red silk shirt, opened to mid-chest, a dark trail of hair just showing.

Darry growled, then pounced, knocking Xanatos to the floor.

Dorotea took Dande's hand and led her out of the tower, the sounds of ripping fabric and bodies roughly wrestling behind them. "Dande, lets go horseback riding," Dorotea suggested, trying to soften the blow.

Dande sighed wistfully, as only wenches can. "She showed such promise..."

Dorotea patted Dande's hand. "There is another."

THE END!
