"Hey, Laure, Shana! Have you seen Cal?" Kendra asked as she slid by them on the iced floor of the Admin building.
"Ah...he just left for the incinerator." Shana sighed as she watched the frosh stumble then pick herself up with the help of Caeryn and her new hockey coach, who happened to be practicing on the ice.
"Thanks." The frosh nodded as she did a quick double take of John B, then shook her head to clear the cob webs. "Does anybody know exactly where the incinerator is?"
"Why don't you try out back, just follow the smoke." Caeryn explained as Kendra nodded in agreement and continued her ungraceful assault to the door.
"You know, I think I might need to make an actual appointment for her." Laure mused as she and Shana went back into her office.

Suddenly the door to the incinerator room flew open and the Frosh Ho ran inside where she found Cal and his wagon hauling trash to the open flames.
"Alright braid boy, drop the trash and nobody gets hurt!" Kendra threatened as Cal spun around to see the Ho with blazing eyes. "I mean it, just drop the handle of the wagon and slowly step aside!"
It didn't take Cal but a second to do just as he was told, drop the wagon handle, shuffle aside and throw his hands in the air in surrender. He'd been around Ho's long enough to understand that the glazed, red-eyed gleam, which sometimes possessed them wasn't something to play with. Just do as you were told and you'd live to see another day, relatively unscathed.

"Just let me do that..." Kendra demanded as a small crowd had gathered outside the incinerator room after hearing some very scary sounds emanating from behind closed doors. "Look, Junior General do I have to do everything myself..."
"But it doesn't go there?" Cal whined.
"Look I've done this before...you haven't, so just shut up and get over here...I know exactly where this thing goes! And can't you do any better than that? I mean it's so small!"
***** "Oh please don't let it be true!" Jen groaned in a hushed whisper as she and a few others listened outside the incinerator room. "I didn't realize Kendra had gotten so desperate...oh Force above, she's jumpin' Cal!" She shuddered while Kymira helped steady her roomie's wavering body.
"Maybe she's drunk!" Robin chimed in as she joined the group, and they just gasped.
"Nobody could be that drunk!"Brenda corrected as they inched closer to the door as the sounds of heavy breathing and groans could be heard echoing against the walls. "Robin you go get Ellie, she'll know how to talk Kendra out of this situation! Now move girl! This is a matter of life and death! Move!" She ordered as Robin turned on her heels to find Ellie.
"Matter of life and death?" The lyrical tones of the General asked with concern as the Ho's finally noticed he'd joined the group. "What's wrong?"
"Oohh General, long time no see..." Kymira purred as she couldn't help but run her hands through his hair. "We've missed you, are you out for good?" She asked with a gleam in her eyes.
"Ah, I'm just taking a breather...I've been in discussions with Die. Besides I thought I heard the scrape of metal scissors, so I decided to take a look around back." The General replied, as he took a quick glance around to make sure there was no scissor-wielding Emmy nearby. "But, what's this about a matter of life and death?" He once again demanded as he stepped closer to the building and his eyes went wide at the sounds assaulting his ears.

"Come on Cal...use it or loose it! Do you even know what that thing hanging down there is even for?" Kendra demanded. "Now shut up and give it to me! And you call yourself a man! Must I do everything...give it here!" She said with annoyance as Cal whimpered loudly. "Quit crying...it's not that hard! Just give it a minute!"
Suddenly the door to the building flew open with a horrendous crash as both Cal and Kendra froze from their spot in the floor and spied a dark silhouette striding towards them.
"Gener..." Cal stammered as he stood up, dropping the stack of papers he held in one hand and the screwdriver clutched tightly in the other.
"General!" Kendra squealed as she stood up, larger screwdriver in one hand and the wheel to Cal's wagon in the other. "I thought you were with Emmy?" She giggled as she dropped everything from her hands and leaped into the Generals arms, never noticing the befuddled look on his face.
"I...I was. You're just helping Cal repair the wagon?" The General asked as he held the frosh close and looked to the scattered remnants of what once looked like a little red wagon strewn across the floor. "I thought...you and Cal...I have been out of circulation, haven't I? Cal, I'll help Kendra with the...repairs, why don't you go check with Judith in the bar, see if she can use your help. Now, let's see about getting back to basics." He purred before kissing the frosh senseless as the door shut behind Cal, who was more than thrilled to leave the remains of his tattered wagon behind.

"I thought you said Kendra was is trouble?" Ellie asked as she and Robin ran back to the incinerator building, finding the crowd of gathered Ho's long deserted after the General burst inside earlier.
"She is, she's with Cal!" Robin wailed in distress as they both cautiously approached the door. Then stood frozen to the spot as a very vocal response from Ellie's roomie could be heard.
"We're too late." Ellie groaned in defeat as she hung her head, "I'd know that voice anywhere, and I definitely know what she's doing to make such a racket...Oh what has happened? Kendra had so much promise...I thought she'd found her EA man and...and...I need a drink!"
"Me too, it's so sad to see a promising young Ho fall to the dark side like this." Robin sighed as she and Ellie headed for the bar.

While frolicing with the General, the frosh Ho never noticed the blank EA form fluttering in the breeze, landing amongst the flames of the incinerator...
