Timeline: After Ellie's Tigers and Lions

"Are you sure we're all going to fit on that thing?" Jael mused as she stood amongst the girls who were already storing their luggage under the bus in its huge storage bins. "I mean there's a lot of luggage being toted around."

"The General did limit us to two pieces" Kendra remarked as she rolled her two family sized suitcases towards the bus.

"True, but I don't think he had any idea as to the size those two pieces might be" Robin sighed as she watched the suitcase stampede before her. "I mean, how much can one person pack?" And with that last remark Dande came gliding down the sidewalk, Cal stumbling and panting with the weight of Dande's two steamer trunks being dragged behind him by rope.

"Does that answer your question?" Bran remarked as the gathered Ho's just watched the wench make her way to the bus.

"What could she possibly have in those things…a body?!" Ellie mused as there was a distinct rustling sound behind her and after a quick glance she could have sworn she saw Darry and Dorotea hastily heading towards the library and clinic as if possessed.

"Maybe they're busy with last minute details or something," JenJen said as she and Ellie turned back around as she shrugged her shoulders. "But this should be good, I think the General just got a load of Dande's travel gear" she grinned as the group inched closer to get a better listen.

"Dande, do you really need all this?" the General asked with exasperation as he waved his hands to the steamer trunks which loudly crashed to the asphalt after Cal collapsed. "I mean we're not going to be gone for very long."

"Oh I know, this is just the bare essentials" Dande smile as she pointed to one steamer trunk. "In here I have my wardrobe, you know you have to always have plenty of breathing space between your silks, taffetas and velvet. I also have my unmentionables in there too."

"And the other trunk?" He cautiously questioned.

"The essentials, my make up, and hair supplies! A girl can never go anywhere without looking her best!" she smiled with a flutter of her beautifully lined eyelashes. "I mean is there something wrong?" Dande asked with a patented wench pout.

"Ah…no…I did say you could bring two pieces of luggage" the General sighed loudly as Dande quickly smiled then headed back for the remainder of her things in the tower. "I guess I never imagined all you girls bringing…so much. Brenda take a note please, next time we go on any type of school trip we make a limit on size of the luggage too." He mused as Brenda stood glued to his side, his personal help for the trip since Diebin still hadn't returned and Emmy had volunteered her padawan Ho, in the hopes of keeping the General occupied.

"Might I suggest a weight limit too." Brenda interjected as she pointed to the slowly listing bus, which was being weighed down on one side by too much stuff being packed.

"Good point" he groaned as he stepped back to access the situation as many a Ho wavered at the sight of him standing hands on hips, legs in line with his shoulders and in a noncustomary outfit; black jeans, black boots and black denim shirt.

"Alright girls we have a slight technical difficulty" the General shouted to get everyone's attention minutes later. "I need you to think about what you've packed and decide if you really need to take it with you, seems we've packed a little too much."

There was a loud murmur passing amongst the Hos gathered, all talking and discussing what was packed and what was needed and in the end all heads nodded in unison that yes they only packed what was essential to their survival. All that is except one, Kendra who shook her head no and walked up to the bus, crawled into the storage area and began sifting around her luggage as the General, Brenda, Ellie and Kymira leaned down to watch.

"Here…I don't need these" Kendra exclaimed from the belly of the bus as only her hand could be seen to the outside world, a hand holding teal colored rollerblades

"Aaahhh….that's very…very…" the General stammered as he took the offered rollerblades from her hands and then helped her out as he searched for words.

"Very life saving to all of us!" Kymira teased as Ellie couldn't help but break down in a fit of laughter as the memories flooded back.

"No, very nice of you" the General gently corrected before kissing Kendra's cheek making the Ho loudly sigh. "However wonderful your gesture is, these rollerblades aren't enough."

"Guess this means we need another plan" Brenda remarked as she thumped her pencil against the clipboard she was holding.

"Exactly, another plan" Kenobi mused before grinning madly. "Brenda, you get the girls to unload all their stuff and pile it on the sidewalk while I make a quick call." He ordered before quickly heading towards his office.

Within the hour another bus could be heard driving onto the campus of HSU, and as it approached it became quite evident from the red and black color that is was from the neighboring University. And stepping from the bus door seconds later as it squealed to a halt before the astonished crowd, Aya.

"Somebody around here called for a lift?" Aya asked as her feet touched the ground and she searched the crowd.

"Thanks Aya!" the General exclaimed as he walked through the Hos to greet her.

"Any time! Kenobi anytime!" Aya grinned, "Just remember I scratch your back, and you scratch mine," she wickedly said as he couldn't help but smile knowingly.

"I'll remember that" he replied with a glint in his eyes before getting back to business. "Alright girls start loading your luggage on both buses!"

"I am not going to be caught dead on that..that thing!" Kymira exclaimed as she wrinkled her nose.

"Me either, then I can't sit in the Gk.'s lap for the road trip" JenJen griped as she stomped her foot in protest.

"He did say just to load the luggage on Aya's bus" Jael interjected as they began to drag their belongings to the second bus.

"True, that just leaves more room for us to bring home more junk!" Kendra giggled madly.

"Yeah, sure does!" Bran and Ellie agreed with glee.
