Jael ran up the front steps of the Administration building and into the Nurses clinic, clasping her hand that was wrapped in a Chuys Tex-Mex t-shirt.

"Darry!" she called, as she saw a pool of blood dripping on the floor. Darry stepped out of her office, smoothing her tailored black jacket and flipping her hair.

"This better be good Jael, I'm with a.. patient."

"Um..." was all Jael said as she thrust her bleeding hand at Darry.

"Hey! Watch the shoes!" Darry said, leading Jael to exam room one.

"Darry, Darry?" called Emmy as she walked into the clinic, she always liked to give the Nurse a heads up when she was about to enter. No one answered so she knocked on Darry's open office door, then peered inside. It was dark, but someone sat in Darry's chair with their back to the door.

"Darry?" asked Emmy, taking a step foward. The door slammed shut behind her and locked; the chair swiveled around. "Xanatos," gasped Emmy and reached for her tiara...

"Jael? Jael..." asked Darry, trying to keep the bleeding girl awake. "Jael!" but she had lost consiousness from the massive blood loss. Her hand was worse than Darry had thought.

The Nurse rushed to her office, not noticing that her guest was absent, and dialed 911. "Yes, this is Nurse Darry at the HSU. I need an ambulance right away.

Minutes later the blaring sirens screamed through campus. Somewhere on the rugby field, the OG grabbed his sword and ran out of the tent, squishing the grapes on the floor under his boots. As head of security he had to see what was going on. Lynne followed him out and ran right into a man. A large, muscular man.

"Uh... uh... hi," she said batting her eyelashes. Her Ho charms did not fail her.

"Hello my lady, my name is Juba."

They were lifting Jael into the ambulance when the OG arrived.

"What happened here?" he asked.

The Spice Girls could be heard warming up in the distance.

"She cut herself practising with her sword, apparently noone was coaching her and she overestimated--" the EMT began, but soon lost his train of thought as he looked over at the nurse.

Darry began mumbling "Horse...servant" and swooned slightly.

The OG's eyes flashed. *He* was supposed to have been practising with Jael, but had forgotten all about it. He shoved the wenching Darry out of the way and shouted to the paramedics to hurry as he climbed in the ambulance.

It sped away, splashing Darry's shoes with mud.

"Great! Now I have to change before I can go to the hospital. Imbeciles.

Cal was polishing the Triumph when Darry entered the garage. The Nurse seemed agitated. Well, more so than usual. He really hoped it wasn't something he had done, but just in case it was, he made for the back door. Too late. She had spotted him.

"You. Stop." she called.

He froze and turned slowly around, his hands in the air, "I swear I didn't do..." she cut him off.

"Shut up and drive, braid boy," she said tossing him the keys. Moments later a BMW peeled out of the garage and headed for the hospital. Darry made phone calls while the Padawannabe drove.

"And the doctors say she has a rare blood type. I checked the files on campus, and get this-- only Xani is a match. Yeah, I know. Well, I know he's on campus, I left him there. Can you find him and get him down here quick? Thanks Judy, I owe you one. No, not one of my appointments. Are you nuts?" Darry flipped her hair as she hung up the phone.

"This is soo wrong..."

"So?"

"Nggggh..."

Judy enlisted the help of the entire staff in tracking down Xani. Normal Al was searching the main floor, the bots were checking the closets, Caryen checked out the student dorms, and Judy headed for the rugby pitch.

"Lynne? Hey, you haven't seen X-A-N-I have you?" Judy asked, spelling out the name just in case. (In case of what you ask? Well if you have to ask I'm not telling you...)

"Who, oh. Him... um... don't tell her I told you but he headed into the mine awhile ago with... well. He's in the mine. That's all I'm saying."

"Um, ok,thanks. I owe you one."

"Of your appointments?"

"Yeah, right!" replied Judy and headed for the mine.

"The doctors say he got here just in time. Hmm? Oh they don't know yet. There may or may not be permanent damage. It's too soon to tell. The General? We'll call him if she gets any worse. Besides the...uh...OG is standing gaurd by her bed for now, I think he feels guilty about what happened. Oh I know, she's going to play that for all it's worth. No, I'm going to stay here for a little longer and see what happens. I'm sending Emmy home with Cal. She's a mess. What was she doing before she drove Xani up here? No, you're right. I probably don't want to know..." Darry hung up the phone and looked in the door of Jaelly's room and sighed, flipping her hair.
