Caeryn and Shana walked down the hall, discussing the latest plans for the school, September rolling around very soon. Adjusting her Italian silk suit, the OSA Director shrugged. "Well, it could be worse."

"How?"

"The General could go on yet another health kick."

"Yeah." The Dean nodded, looking down the hall, seeing the General's office door closed. "...and why is his door closed?"

"Good question."

Crossing to the door and about to turn the knob, Caeryn froze, hearing a voice she wasn't expecting to hear. "Uh, Shana?"

"Wha?"

"We might have trouble."

Leaning on the doorframe, putting her ear to the door. When her eyes widened, the Dean groaned.

"Lacroix?"

"Lacroix."

Somewhere in Toronto, Ontario, a phone rang. Picking up the cell phone on the third ring, the blonde smiled at her partner and hit the "on" button.

"Tracy!"

"Uuh... Shana? What are you doing calling me? You aren't in trouble too, are you?"

The brunette sighed and leaned back in her chair, swallowing the sigh as Scott's fingers eased another knot out of her shoulders. "No, but I need to talk to Nick."

The blonde cop shook her head. "Sure. Nick!"

Crow looked up from his work in the front office and shook his head. "Great. Once bitten, twice angsty."

Nick Knight took the phone with a quizzical look to Tracy. "Hello?"

Shana leaned backwards in her chair, raising an eyebrow at the glasses staring down at her curiously. "Nick! You have two hours to get down here, remove your undead father from this campus before I stuff garlic in his mouth and tie him to a tree so he can watch the sun rise from the front seat row."

Nick dropped his head to the desk in Toronto and sighed. Not again.

"Nick!! Don't make me come up there and exact revenge."

"I'll be there as soon as I can."

******* 1 hour and 34 minutes later...

"I am not leaving Nicholas."

"You will, or they'll kill you."

Lacroix scoffed, as Master Vampires are prone to do.

Nick held out his hands. "Fine. Be staked by these women. I'll just take over the club for you and change the radio station over to easy listening programming."

The scoff turned to a snarl. "You'll pay for this, Nicholas."

There was a shrug from the blonde vampire angsty cop. "Like I already don't?"

The General strode into his office, suddenly aware that some dark presence had been in the rooms, the evil hum of immortality making the Force antsy around him.

Seeing that neither Diebin nor DebLei were there, the desk abandoned and computer on sleep mode, he smiled a little and stepped into his provate domain, jumping back when he spotted the barely clad Ho sprawled out on the desktop.

"Diebin? I thought you weren't here...?"

She grinned. "Well, Caeryn said the office needed a better energy, and I thought this was the best fix."

The General raised an eyebrow and shut off the lights, beginning to unbutton his shirt.

*************** yeah, end. :)
