Jael has been at the HSU since its founding. A former student, she has held many positions on campus, including Geek Artist, Warrior Princess, and Rugby Captain. She spends much of her time training with The Other General, General Maximus, and the latest addition to the security team, James Bond.

Jael's other companion is the equivalent of Scooby-Doo mixed with a Sith-seeking Hell-hound, known as Space Dog. Space Dog is a small black dog that likes to run around with the other black dogs on campus, Lasher and Sirius Black. And, contrary to what Sirius and Lasher have told Emmy, Space Dog has never once eaten a single pair of Emmy's sandals.

Jael is always ready to protect the school and its residents from whatever evil is lurking beyond the gate, in the forest, or under the bed. Evil lurking *in* the bed, however, is probably a problem that Laure has created for herself, and not under Jael's jurisdiction.

Jael enjoys long walks on the beach, watching Quidditch, hosting Sunday morning brunch for her family, and blowing things up.
