OS1. This one is the cover of a near mint 1950 Catalogue in my collection. Bassett-Lowke were a famous firm of Engineers and Scale Model Makers whose products are eagerly sought after today. This is a bright and attractive poster. Even though I am not a great B-L fan, it still gives me a thrill, and I don't want to part with the catalogue!
The Bassett-Lowke brand is currently experiencing a successful revival under Corgi and details of the new range are available from the Bassett-Lowke website: www.bassett-lowke.co.uk

OS2. Don't know much about this one, which was donated to me, or about Ives. It took a lot of work to restore - but brilliant original art..
Would the collector who sent me the Ives pix please contact me - I've lost your information in a crash..)

OS8. Here's another Ives Set Box - many hours of work on this one - it was a flat greenish hue when I received it! Nice artwork, though.

OS3. Here's the covers from a couple of old Marklin Catalogues. The Santa Fe one is from 1961/62.

OS4. This is the back cover from the 1961/62 catalogue.

OS5. And the cover from 1964/65. This one features the famed German class E94 Electric Loco (Thanks TS for info on this one.)

OS6. Marklin Construction Set Catalogue cover from 1965. Beautiful pastel-style artwork.

OS7. This is the back cover of the catalogue, showing the powerful Marklin HO gauge model of the 2-10-0 locomotive, much coveted when we were young, now a collectors item.

OS8. Wonderful old Japanese artwork from the 'Sakai Standard Rail-way' Set Box Lid.
