Role playing games. Every time they are mentioned people either go, what is that? Or you kinky thing/pervert, depending on their mindset. Or they surprise me and know what I am talking about. RPGs are kind of like improv acting. You create a character, the game master then sets a scene and you react to it the way you think your character would. The character can be anything from a club wielding savage, to a space plane pilot. Can be a cute furry halfling to a walking squid who thinks humans are a delicacy. My favorite games are: Cyberpunk 2020, Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay, Battlelords of the 23rd century. I have characters from each of them that really like. Some from cpunk am basing my book on. If it ever gets written and published.
Cyberpunk 2020: We have made some changes.
Jeff. The complete fixer specializing in information gathering. If you need to know something he is your man.
Michael. A handsome smooth solo who would rather dance than fight.
Chak. The ultimate poser. He watched way to many Predator movies when he was young. Has had himself sculpted to look like one.
Hawk. Exspetnatz. Sneaky security guy. Can slip up behind someone in a crowded bar and slit their throat without the bodyguards seeing.
Richard. Owner and sole proprietor of SIE security agency. Will install or test your security system. Some times without permission.
Battlelords of the 23rd Century: A great game. I tend to uncomplicated it when running.
Caldeen Sumal. Orion Rogue supreme. Can drink you under the table then play you a tune on the bagpipes to wake you up. If the explosions don't do that first.
Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay: We adjusted the races for our games. Makes them a lot more balanced.
Hendrick Von Hessler. Was a peaceful goatherd until his daughters were married. Most of his possessions went to the dowreys. Left with the clothes on his back and trusty axe he made his way in the world of an adventurer. Now if he has any new daughters they will be well off.
Sherlock Sheridan. A rascal, rogue, and outlaw. Still a great guy to have at a party or a fight. Trust him with your life, but not your money or wife.
