COCOON FLEET SITUATION REPORT SD: 11.0706 ******* Antelope Squadron: Commodore Tara Cadoriet --- *** USS ATHENE No report submitted. *** USS YEAGER No report submitted. ****** Beaver Squadron: Commodore J.M.Power --- *** USS HORIZON As Beaver SC Commodore Michael Power prepares for a 'tour' of the HORIZON, he meets and briefs the new security officer for the ship, a huge Muahijwe going by the name of Ensign Arkanis. A communication arrives at the HORIZON, ordering any ship in the fleet that comes in contact with the USS COCHRANE, currently charged with the destruction of the USS MEDIA, to take the senior staff into custody, by force if necessary. On the DOMINION ship, Lt. Suven, Hamelin, and Lt. Malaar are held, again, at the mercy of the evil traitor, P'Ghal. Before they are led back to secure quarters, Hamelin manages to take P'Ghal's communicator by a combination of brute force and slight of hand. The three officers quickly get out of their 'cell', and make their way to a cargo bay (or a remarkable likeness), seeking a way to transport off the ship. Making use of the Dominion's powerful cargo transporters, they flee the ship, and beam to Suven's awaiting shuttle. Back at the HORIZON, Lt. Bordak uncovers Ensign Chelt's very dead body, and takes a 'changeling' who had taken his place into custody. In the brig, the prisoner reveals himself to be an Allasomorph. One of the shape shifters in the employ of the Founders. Commodore Power and his entourage arrives on ship, welcomed by Lt. Cmdr. Tergin, and Lt. Munro, who in Suven's absence, masquerades as the ship's XO. Power, being marginally impressed by the additional security measures integrated aboard the HORIZON, begins his tour. MEANWHILE, in MEGACITY... As the GOLDEN CONDOR and the BLACK DYNAMO clash into combat, there is an out of chapter appearance by THE GREEN DRAGON, throwing the whole program awry. To make matters worse, now the program won't end, let alone freeze... As the Cyridian-like villainess heads towards the Morgan Estate, to kidnap Miss Lily Lilac, the GOLDEN CONDER and the BLACK DYNAMO form an unlikely alliance... As the heat builds on MEGACITY, the program is ended, and the officers go back to stations, buckling down for the Commodore's tour. *** USS KATANA The CO reluctantly advises the KATANA crew on ship-wide comm that they may need to use the self-destruct to take out Mossarra's base, but Ensign Krwn comes up with the idea of using the drill- configured phasers to get a torpedo close enough to the metagenic weapon's buried Subspace Array that the array will be destroyed and the weapon crippled. As Villa Jaron, one of Mossara's henchmen, works the controls to move the metagenic weapon into position, Thelek orders the drilling to commence and the plan succeeds, leaving the KATANA in greatly reduced danger. Meanwhile, the Away Team encounters Mossara's formidable X'igilli bodyguards. Six members of the Security detachment are lost and several other Away Team members are wounded in the battle. The X'igilli regain their unconscious master and apparently whisk him away. After speaking forcefully to Doctor Bra'an to persuade her that there is no way to win back custody of the Pirate, Takoth leads the Away Team to recover the crews of the MALEVOLENT and NAIROBI. As the base's fighters have moved off to escort the escaping craft, the KATANA begins beaming up the Away Team and the liberated SF crews, and Takoth orders that they set out for DS 101 as soon as the last are aboard. The mission has left many points for the KAT crew to ponder. As their Leska bond begins to throb with new urgency, Kitru and Trey Bra'an face the implications of their bond each in their own way. Kitru worries about Trey's wish to be rid of the bond which will only dissolve in their mutual deaths, and Trey takes a psi- suppressant to push away the mounting draw of the bond. To one side of the USS KATANA's course, Thesonik is once again trapped in a severely damaged shuttle and ignites some of the drive's plasma in an effort to both move closer to the SF ship's path and to attract it's attention. *** USS PHOENIX The PHOENIX arrives back at the Gaia Fleetyards, after the quasi faliour of her last mission. The crew takes some well deserved R&R, and those assigned to the ARTEMIS begin the transfer. The PHOENIX is now officially DRY DOCKED. ****** Condor Squadron: Commodore Wynton Spires --- OUTPOST 108 No report submitted. *** USS COCHRANE No report submitted. *** DS 101 It is discovered that the metagenic device that they have been working on was coded to Roberts DNA. Someone wants him dead, presumably the same someone who just tried to set a booby-trap outside Alyza's office. There is somewhat of a mass exodus from DS101, Grayson boards the CURIE, Xavier leaves on the GALAHAD and most of DS's command staff prepares to go after the stolen USS MICHON aboard THE MANTA RAY. *** USS CURIE No report submitted. ******* Viper Squadron: Commodore Davis Dal Starian --- USS DURHAM No report submitted. *** USS IBUTHO No report submitted. *** USS KRIEGER No report submitted. *** USS ZAHAL No report submitted. ****** Cocoon Fleet Situation Intelligence Report: by Cmdr. Ilu A ceasefire exists between the Federation and the Na'Chem. The Juun have made no official comment. Several Officials sacked from the Juun government following the exposure of genocide committed against the Na'Chem by the Juun have attempted to lure the Federation into a war with the Na'Chem. Starfleet is investigating these allegations of Genocide against the Na'Chem heavily which may threaten the Juun's position in the Federation. Starfleet Intelligence Officers are on the scene and investigating the reports of Romulan influence in the matter. A small number of Na'Chem factions are refusing to acknowledge the ceasefire. Calling themselves the Na'stiu, they continue raids against the Juun. An area of space being dubbed the ‘Bermuda Triangle' has left Several Starfleet vessels missing. A ship has been sent to investigate. Amgine Sector Report: by Lt. Serin Erl Deep Space 101 has returned to it's previous location. The exact circumstances of it's disappearance have been divulged to Cocoon Fleet Headquarters. Outpost 108's construction proceeds on schedule, it's support vessel however has left on a joint mission with the Klingon vessel "Kahless' Blood". The USS CURIE has returned from the far end of the Cocoon. A new HAWKING class ship has arrived to replace the aging FEYNMAN. Beyond the Portal: by Lt. Michael Walters The Klingon Empire has established a Ceasefire with the Federation following the exposure of a conspiracy between the Klingon Houses in the former Occupied zone and the Cardassian Union. Peace Negotiations are proceeding slowly on Khitomer, several of the Federation's top ambassadors have been sent and recent reports say that the Negotiations are nearing an end. Fleet yards across the Federation are putting in extra effort to bring the fleets numbers back up to what they were before the war. What Starfleet lacks now is the personnel to staff those ships. Federation fleets are regrouping and rebuilding following the recent war. The eighth fleet, sixth and third fleets are the only fleets so far to regain their numbers to what they were before the war. The wormhole at DS 12 has finally sufficiently stabilized for traffic to resume to the Gamma Quadrant. Respectfully Submitted, Tom Doyle, Fleet GM for Holoworld
