COCOON FLEET SITUATION REPORT SD: 10.1208 ******* USS REGULATOR The REGULATOR is currently drydocked at Gaia Fleetyards. *** USS LOKI The LOKI is currently drydocked at Gaia Fleetyards. *** USS SAGAN Currently drydocked at the Gaia Fleetyards. ******* Antelope Squadron: Commodore Crystal Hagan --- *** USS ATHENE The science officer has devised away to "upload" the consciousnesses of the emprisonned people in the planet. Bringing them to the Athene's holodeck has given the CO and CsciO a chance to discover that they are starfleet officers who were cpatured by the Dominion a few years ago and were brought to this planet. It has been decided that the only way to free the hostages' physical bodies is to attack the planet in the hope of immobilising it long enough to allow the two rescue shuttles to reach the planet and free the captives. The Athene has begun firing as the shuttle descends into the atmosphere of the planetary Mind. *** USS YEAGER No report submitted. *** USS SOJOURNER-TRUTH The ship remains in spacedock at the Gaia shipyards awaiting final completion. The SOUJOURNER-TRUTH is also currently awaiting staff. Commander Gage contemplates seeing a counselor. The recent war and death of his former CO seems to have taken its toll. Lt. Cmdr Nuaths takes her first lesson at flight training. The training takes a bad turn when she runs a Bajoran Ambassador's shuttle off course. The XO also meets with a friend from the Academy now stationed aboard. ****** Beaver Squadron: Commodore Lowen Punn --- *** USS HORIZON The HORISON is still about 6 days away from SB OMEGA. Ensign Malaar is reprimanded for taking a shuttle craft without permission. Malaar also receives from a dream state certain calculations for a possible new type of traveling through space. At present tests show that a ship could easily cross half the galaxy in an instant, though the stress would crush the ship making this transdimensional travel unlikely to ever be used. P'Ghal, a Romulain defector, seems to have certain information which would give him power over someone high up in Starfleet Command. P'Ghal at present is attempting to attain a ship by using this information. *** USS KATANA No report submitted. *** USS PHOENIX No report submitted. ****** Condor Squadron: Commodore Andrew Lochheart --- USS GRYPHON No report submitted. *** DS 101 The last of the refugees return from M'Sagro III aboard the HIKARU but for the next few days an apparent malfunction sees the ship aparently wanting to return there. At least thats where flight plans keep apearing for, plans that no-one seems to have sent! Q stumbles across a medical emergency and finds himself being recomended for the now vacent CMO position, if his trial doesn't get him thrown out of starfleet that is. *** USS CURIE In the early days of Kelen's trial, tricks and tactics abound. The court has seen the prosecution show footage of Kelen and Kalayah blowing up the reactor, and the defence show identical footage of, what could have been the judge, and the prosecutor doing the same. Niki, meanwhile, onboard the alien vessel has been attempting to gather information and has seen a picture of Reily flash across the computer screen, and is now contemplating a return to the CURIE. ******* Viper Squadron: Commodore Davis Dal Starian --- USS DURHAM No report submitted. *** USS IBUTHO The IBUTHO is currently awaiting staff and undergoing minor repairs. *** USS KRIEGER Ensigns C'Fang and Bordak research a form of radiation that seems to be coming from the Renrael System. Findings lead them to match with an particle that is classified to all save one of Command rank. Lt. Cmdr Marshall looks into the matter finding that the particle that is at the heart of this newly found radiation is similar to that of an Omega particle. Under Starfleet protocol Marshall is unable to reveal this information to his staff. The KRIEGER finally arrives and meets with the USS PHANTOM. Lt(jg) Suven, a Starfleet Security agent transports aboard the KRIEGER, along with the listening buoys that they are to deploy. *** USS ZAHAL No report submitted. ****** Cocoon Fleet Situation Intelligence Report: by Cmdr. Ilu A ceasefire exists between the Federation and the Na'Chem. The Juun have made no official comment. Several Officials sacked from the Juun government following the exposure of genocide committed against the Na'Chem by the Juun have attempted to lure the Federation into a war with the Na'Chem. A ship has dealt with the situation and Starfleet Intelligence is looking further into it. A small number of Na'Chem factions are refusing to acknowledge the ceasefire. Calling themselves the Na'stiu, they continue raids against the Juun. The Juun are increasing pressure for Starfleet to respond to this threat with force, although after the recent actions of the Juun Officials, Starfleet Command will still need to consider it. An area of space being dubbed the ‘Bermuda Triangle' has left Several Starfleet vessels missing. A ship has been sent to investigate. Amgine Sector Report: by Lt. Serin Erl Deep Space 101 is currently rebuilding following the discovery that the station itself was a living creature, known as 'The Keeper'. Following a battle with the Nebula Dwellers The Keeper has begun hibernation for the lifespan of the Vulcan it absorbed. The situation on the Federation Embassy on the Dergrad homeworld, Soc'Nu, has been dealt with in all haste and things are slowly settling down. A cure of the virus on M'Sagro III has been found. Beyond the Portal: by Lt. Michael Walters The Cardassian Union has recovered the majority of the planets occupied by the Klingons 40 years ago. Their fleet continues to advance to those planets yet to fall. The Klingon defense is limited - with the majority of the occupied zone Klingon fleet destroyed during 'The Battle for the Cocoon'. The Klingon Empire has established a Ceasefire with the Federation following the exposure of a conspiracy between the Klingon Houses in the former Occupied zone and the Cardassian Union. Peace Negotiations are proceeding slowly on Khitomer. Federation fleets are regrouping and rebuilding following the recent war. The wormhole at DS 12 has yet to stabilise sufficiently for traffic to resume to the Gamma Quadrant. Respectfully Submitted, Tom Doyle, Fleet GM for Holoworld
