Patrollers
So, you want to be a patroller? You think you're good enough to be a patroller? Well, we're going to find out. *evil grin*

What is a patroller? A patroller is a member of a group of students who enjoy wandering around and fighting the dangers of the Forbidden Forest. Basically.

What do patrollers do? Mostly, patrollers hold special meetings in the forest in which they "practice" fighting with evil monsters, etc (whatever happens to be lurking in the Forbidden Forest), and they also get to be moderators of GP boards and help other people who are new to role-playing or whose characters just happen to be shy/timid/don't like fighting.

Now that I know what patrollers are, I want to be one. How do I join? Well, since the Patrollers are *elite*, we can't have too many of them (really, what's the point if everyone is a patroller?). Usually, one of the existing Patrollers/Teachers/Headmistresses has to nominate a new student that they notice is helping others and posting a lot. But if you REALLY want to be a patroller, you can e-m@il the Headmistresses and ask. There is a test that Patrollers have to take, but really, it's no big deal.

Wait a minute, did you just say a TEST?! Uh..yeah. Is that a bad thing? This is just a test of your characters role-playing abilities. We give you a "situtation" that you have to role play and show us your skills. Like I said, it's no big deal, we just want people that can role-play well, handle odd situations (like things that come up in the Guided Plot), and aren't going to die the minute they face something dangerous.

Okay...so I passed the test. Now what? You wait until the Headmistresses add you to the list of Patrollers..and wait for the next meeting..and..we'll send you a more detailed e-m@il.

Meetings? What are meetings? A meeting. You know, when everyone get together and talk? Well..it's when we decide on a day and time (we'll try to vary it so that most everyone can come) and have as many patrollers as we can get online at the same time and post in their own storyline in the Patroller Forest.

So, whose idea was this anyway? Well..it was sort-of Headmistress Odietta's idea, but it's a long story. You don't want to know.
