1.One paragraph summary of the key idea(s) highlighted in this section.
A key idea highlighted within this particular section is the aspect of sacrificing in order to perform a solid moral act that benefits those around you. This aspect is portrayed within both medical and business ethics. Within the subject of medical ethics is a story of an uncle, who agreed to sacrifice an internal organ in hopes of saving his neice who was suffering with a fatal lung disease. It is accurate in saying that this illustrates sacrifice because he faced a risk of losing his own life. In addition to this lies another instance within the realm of business ethics. The aspect of sacrifice is highlighted within the story of an elderly individual by the name of Aaron Feuerstein. Through ceding a large corporation after it experienced an insignificant depression, he continued to distribute full pay to his workers. Though he could've easily sold the property and added to his multimillion dollar income, he made a moral decision to continue paying his workers and initiating a rebuild to the family business. This supports the main idea of the section as it illustrates the moral standards of an inividual to sacrifice for the greater good.
2.List and explain three of the most important ideas you want to remeber from this week.
a)Medical Ethics- The theme that arises from this is the choice of doing something one feels is morally right, or acting on what one thinks is right on a professional basis. This affair is highlighted through a sister and brother's decision to either continue Life Support for their mother or let her go. The perspectives varied amongst them as the sister wanted to contrinue the procedure, unlike the brother who felt otherwise. The essential aspects of ordinary means, or the essentials needed to naturally stabilize the human body, and extraordinary means, using mechanical aid (life support) in hopes of revitalization or recover, play a vital role. The conflicts between the two supports this claim of what one thinks is the "more right" approach to adopt. It proves significant as it illustrates problems that individual sface in reality.
b)Just War:Jus Ad Bellum- The ideas that are witnessed as significant lie within the a formation of the Just War theory. The aspects of "Right Intention" and "Last Resort" are significant aspects that are important. Within the theme of Right Intention as dealing with war, it is essential that, if war is the option of choice, it must be carried out with the attempt of accomplishing justice and peace and not out of "hatred", "desire for revenge" or a yearning to attain "dominance". This guideline is of great importance because it essentially defines a "Just War", in that it has a predetermined purpose that is not characterized by hatred and bigotry.
c)Business Ethics- The idea that emerges from this category is the act of doing what is morally right for the greater good of the whole. From this essential aspect arises beneficial factors that compensates both the employer and the employee. As the boos shows favor to his workers the same will most likely occur with the workers. One such factor is that it provides a more lively and content wroking atmosphere, which leaves little room for confrontations often witnessed within the relationships of executives and employees. In addition it leaves individuals happy in knowing that trust can be firmly established within the work industry.

4. One good question I should keep with me to ponder.
Through all of my activities and my busy schedule do I take time to realize the conditions in Iraq?
5. What can I do to make myself a better person.
In order to improve as an individual I think it essential to focus more on the blessings and favor I have from God rather than having a tendency to complain about the things that I want and don't have. Adding to this aspect those things that I do not have, strengthening my work ethic so that I will be able to attain those things without complaining about why I don't have them.
