You are in my heart, you are in my prayers. I think about you and how you made me smile. I think of you always!
I can still hear your voice, I can still see your smile sometimes when I go to bed at night. I remember all the times you stayed the night with us. I can still see you waving that cane at me when I would ride my bike to the edge of the hill on Whipkey Drive and you thought I was a gonner! I can still remember like it was yesterday, you staying in my room when you would visit and me sneaking your chocolate covered cherries from the dresser drawer! I can remember you telling me that it was so hot in Florida that you could fry an egg on your sidewalk! You never let your dog Pixie out of your site. I can remember how you use to LOVE it when I would rub Ben Gay on your forehead. You would tell me how good it felt and you would give me a nickle if I kept doing it. You will live in my heart forever. The years have passed by so quickly that it doesn't seem like you have been gone for all these years. I think about you all the time, and I reminisce about the days you were in my life. I loved you then, and all these years later I still love you just as much! Someday there will be a glorious reunion in heaven among all of us. Thank you for all the love you gave me and thank you Hippie for all the memories, and thank you most of all for the great daughter you brought into this life that I called Grandma!
Thank you for what you gave me...Your Love
I love you Great Grandpa "Hippie"...and always will.
