Past Life

This is my second fanfic I am trying to write, I don't know how people liked my first one, so if it sucked, this one might too, but still read it. Besides if it does suck it's your fault for forcing me to write my own fanfic to put on this web page!
All these characters belong to whoever made them (Naoko Takeuchi) Part One: Awakening Four girls walked along the side walk on a ridiculously cold day in Tokyo. While most of the girls were bearing the cold weather, one would not stop complaining. "It's sooooo cold you guys, can't we just stop and get some hot chocolate or something? "NO SERENA! You want to play that new Sailor V game that just came out don't you? "But Rei can't we just do both?" "We can, but you blew most of your allowance on sweets so you don't have enough money to do both" "You know Serena, Mina does have a point, if you could learn some self control, then you would be able to do both." "Rei would you STOP LECTURING ME!?" "You know Serena, Andrew will be there" Lita gave her friend a sneaky look as if she had a wicked plan "Yeah, your right" The short blond smiled the same sneaky smile back at her brown haired friend, and took off running at lightning speed towards the arcade. "Hurry up you slow pokes!" She was still running top speed, but she wasn't watching where she was going. "Serena look out!" "What was that Lita?" Serena heard a deed "ugh!" as she ran into something...no someone. "Oh! I'm very sorry please forgive me" Serena bowed deeply in apology "Watch where ya' going meatball head!" "oh no not you again" Serena gave an exasperated sigh as she looked up one eye at a time to see a tall man with black hair and dark blue eyes standing in front of her. "Where are you off to in such a rush anyway meatball head?" "None of your business you jerk!" Serena turned away from her arch nemesis and started to grab the handle of the arcade door when she saw Darien's hand going for the same handle. She turned around and faced him with a superior look on her face. "So, you decided to open the door for me in apology . . ." "Actually I was going to the arcade to see Andrew, but now that you mention it. . ." "yes" "I only open doors for ladies" Darien coolly opened the door and walked past a fuming Serena "I can't stand that jerk" The other girls finally caught up to Serena breathing heavily. "Wow Serena when it comes to guys you sure do get a burst of energy" Said Mina "Hey Serena wasn't that Darien?" "Yes Rei it was, I can't stand that jerk!" "I don't know he's pretty cute to me" "I'd have to agree with Rei Serena, he's definitely a 10 THOUSAND on a scale of 1 to 10" "He reminds me of one of my old boyfriends" "You guys are crazy he's a total ass!" "Well it's kind of cold out here you guys so lets go in" The other three girls followed Mina into the arcade when she went straight for Andrew "Hey you guys how are you doing?" "Oh, I'm fine Andrew" Mina walked over to Andrew with a wide smile on her face and began to strike up a conversation. "I guess she forgot about the Sailor V game as soon as she saw Andrew" Said Rei "It's not fair, she shouldn't have him all to herself!" The girls watched Lita as she ran towards Mina and 'playfully' knocked her out of the way and began to talk to Andrew. Serena and Rei were the only two girl left at the Sailor V game, so they began to play and have girl talk "Serena, I kind of like this guy, and I need advice on what to do about it" "Your asking advice from me!?" "Look meatball head I'm desperate" "Well Rei, if I were you, I would just ask Chad out on a date and .... "Who said it was Chad!?" "It's ok Rei we all know he likes you it's only fitting that you would..." "It's not Chad" "Oh, I get it" Serena said with a sarcastic look on her face. "Well Rei, if I liked this guy, that wasn't Chad of course, I would just ask him out on a date" "You think I should? "Yeah Rei, I mean you are kind of cute I guess" "Thanks Serena" Rei said with the same sarcastic tone. Rei suddenly rose to her feet and began to walk away from Serena. "Hey, Rei where ya going?" "I'm going to follow your advice" Serena was puzzled, but began to understand things as she walked towards Andrew who was caught between a conversation with Darien, Mina and Lita. "I guess it really wasn't Chad" She mumbled to herself. 'she must like Andrew, she'll have to compete with Lita and Mina'. Serena pictured Lita and Mina's reactions to Rei new crush when she saw Rei pull DARIEN aside? "Um...Darien can I talk to you for a second?" "Sure Rei what's up?" "Well I was just wondering if you wanted to go hand out some time" Darien thought to himself for a second. 'Is she asking me out? No way, she's just a friend. "Sure Rei why not, I find time for all my other friends" "Great!" Rei was discouraged by the 'friend' referral, but she thought, 'friends make the best lovers' Lita, Mina, and Andrew all stared in amazement. Serena was also staring, but there was something else in her eyes besides just amazement. Some would say it was jealousy. "Why would you want to go out with a jerk like him?!" "You just don't like him because he always calls you out on your flaws" "Flaws!? I have no flaws I'm absolutely perfect" "Yeah, all the way from the funny meatballs on your head to your continuously falling IQ" That started word fight between them, and it didn't start until Lita broke in. "Correct me if I'm wrong Serena, but don't you like Andrew?" "Who said I didn't!? "Well..."Mina started in "An outside observer would say your acting jealous" "Yeah Serena, if you liked him you should of told me before you gave me your advice" "I don't like that jerk and I'm not jealous! he's all yours" Andrew and Darien were watching the girls argument, they couldn't really hear them, but they could definitely see it wasn't a friendship breaking fight. They also heard Serena's loud 'I'm not jealous' as she walked out of the arcade in a huff. "Jeez Darien, all the girls want you" "What are you talking about, they all like you Mina, Lita, Serena..." "Serena!? "You have to be joking, she is sooooo yours" "She hates my guts!" "Yeah well, I still think you guys are perfect for each other, and the going out with her friend to make her jealous is not a good idea" "Who Rei? She’s just a friend" "As far as your concerned" "Besides, I no reason to try to make Serena jealous she is completely the opposite of my type" "OH YEAH? Who's that?" "She's dumb and clumsy and..." "Sweet and dependable and beautiful and loving and ..." "She is not cute" Andrew Stared at him for a minute with a look of disbelief. "Man, you are so in denial" "She isn't!" "Darien, look at her and say that to me again after you see her" "Maybe your the one with the crush" "Nope, I just have eyes" It was getting late and the girls had already left leaving Darien and Andrew to an uninterrupted conversation, before Darien finally left to go home. He had a strange feeling he was needed again and began to run following the path his heart told him to run. He still didn't understand it, the dreams, the feeling, the fact he was tuxedo mask, nope, it didn't make sense to him at all, but he knew it would someday. He heard her screaming, he had made it. "AHHHHHHHHHHH, Sailor Mars use your fire attack, NOOOOWWWWW!!!!!!" "Right, Mars Fire Ignite!" "Haha haha your attacks can't do anything to me" The monster had knocked mars to the ground and was about to give Sailor Moon a lethal blow. "Sailor Moon, look out!!" She turned just in time to see the demons razor shard claws coming towards her neck. She braced herself for the pain, but it never came. She looked down to see a rose between herself and the monster. "Tuxedo Mask!" He was fighting the monster, and it was stronger than he thought it would be. "Sailor Moon. . ." He was cut short when he was knocked to the ground by the ugly demon. "Tuxedo Mask!!" Now, she had to do it now before he was dead. "Hey! over hear you fashion freak!" The monster turned and screamed at what it saw next. "Moon, Tiara, MAGIC!!" "NOOOOOOOOOOOO" In a flash of light it was dust, and Sailor Moon was running towards Tuxedo Mask. "Tuxedo Mas.....He's gone. . ." "Hey Sailor Moon can we get some help over hear!?" Sailor Moon turned to see her friends, bruised, but OK. "Sorry you guys it just looked like Tuxedo Mask was really hurt" "Apparently he was..." Said Ami "There's blood on the ground, he must have been hurt pretty bad, but he walked away, so it can't be life threatening" "Ami's right" Said Rei "I guess so. . .Are you guys all ok?" Mina was rubbing her butt, and Lita was pissed that she had been beaten. "Well, it looks like besides my bruised butt and Lita's ego we're all ok" "Good, because I have to go before my parents notice I'm gone" "Yes, and I have to continue my studying" "We all meet at the temple tomorrow right?" "Yeah Mina" Said Lita "hey you guys can we do that Friday? I kind of have a date" "So you have a date huh Rei . . .with Darien?" Rei turned a shade of bright pink at Mina's teasing. "Well, yeah" The girls were all teasing Rei when Serena suddenly busted in. "Well, I have to go so I'll see you guys later" She walked away from her cheery friends after saying goodbye, and walked back to her house. When she got home she sneaked into the house, and got ready for bed, she fell asleep dreaming about Tuxedo Mask, and even in her sleep wondering if he was OK. He had gotten home at two in the morning. He didn't get into bed until 2:45. That monster had hit him pretty hard, and when he hit the ground, his head didn't prove to be the cushion. He had a pretty bad gash on his forehead. He surveyed the wound closely. "It shouldn't need stitches at least" He began to think to himself. 'I was sloppy that's the only reason why this happened if only Sailor Moon had used her Tiara earlier. . .no, it wasn't her fault, I should have been paying more attention, but I was too worried about her' He bandaged his forehead and took two aspirins to calm the pounding in his head. He passed out before he got to the bed, his sleeping state clearer than it had been before. He had the same dream he had had for every night for the past year, but it was different. "Tuxedo Mask..." "Who are you?" "Tuxedo Mask...you must find me" "Find you? I don't understand" "You must remember, you have to remember me" "Remember you..." "Please Endymion, please. . ." He didn't understand why she had called him Endymion, but what he really didn't understand was why he knew that name. "Darien, you must awaken . . you must awaken me" For the first time he had this dream he saw the girl that was calling out to him. He knew who she was. . . He wakened from his dream already 10 minutes late for his class. He quickly got dressed and ran to class, the whole time trying to understand his dream, and the new feelings that i stirred inside of him, it was as if he was slowly remembering a past life, but he remembered nothing. That's the end of part one, I don't know if you liked it, but I hope you did. I know this went a little slow, but the best novels take time to climax, I want to keep you reading.
