The cliffhangers are each given an assignment involving eggs. The project purpose it to teach each of them different living situations with different types of family and the consequences of having sex. Peter assigns each cliffhanger with a different situation. Juliette is a single mom who had a one night stand and is now living with $25,000 a year salary. Auggie and Scott are a gay couple looking to adopt a child. Shelby and Ezra are a newly married couple with an income of $60,000 combined yearly who have twins. Daisy is childless and is to write a 2 page essay by Friday.

Sophie decides to join Horizon by becoming a counselor. Kat has a argument with Peter and refuses to see her family. Ezra takes the project a little too seriously and irritates Shelby to death. Kat tries to get herself into trouble by luring Hank to Peter's house to get caught, so she wouldn't have to see her parents.

Scott shows no respect for Auggie as they continue to work on their project even though Juliette is unapproved of his behavior. Ezra continues to annoy Shelby as she refuses to do her part of the project.

Scott and Auggie has a dispute over their project. Scott gives a bad attitude about the whole thing while Auggie just wants to get the project over with. Kat gets mad after Hank refuses to make out at Peter's place. She has a flash back of her past with her little sister. Sophie comes to Peter's house and finds Hank and Kat together and gets furious about the situation.

Sophie tells Peter what happens and finds out for the first time what hurt Kat so much and why she wanted to get caught. Kat's parents come to Horizon and are furious at the fact that she slipped right before graduation. Her parents tried to talk to her and the truth is uncovered that they still hold blame on Kat for her sister's death.

Scott and Auggie finally work through their differences and finish their project. Ezra finally convinces Shelby to help him with the kids. Kat refuses to talk to anyone after her father unleashed that she has no parents upsetting her and making her remember the death of her little sister even more.

All the cliffhangers showed that they worked through their problems and finished their projects. Sophie got Kat to get what was bothering her out. The Cabots however, felt that they needed to take their daughter home to resolve the situation. Sophie gets the family to work out their problem by expressing their feelings of the problem.
