The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn by Mark Twain, and stand by me , such as they both have some similarities, such as they both have boys who sneak out and like to cause mischief. In both movies the boys find a dead body. In both movies the boys sneak out of their houses. In Huckleberry Finn the boys sneak out to go to a club that they have and talk about robbing people and killing people that they rob. Stand By Me the boys sneak out to go their fort and tell stories, jokes and play cards. Both sets of boys cause a lot of trouble. In Huckleberry Finn they go around and terrorize the city. The boys in Stand by Me steal one of their parents gun and go around shooting trash cans. They hold one of the brothers at gun point because they are fighting over who found the body. Also in Huckleberry Finn they see a man killed and had to go on trial against the murder. The characters in Stand by Me get a tip of where the body is and they decide not to tell anyone. There are a lot of similarities in these too. By how they cause trouble and are both caught up in a killig. Mark Twain was born in a small river town called Hannibal MO in 1835. he died in 1910.(par.2 pg.1). Mark Twain wrote two books called The Adventures of Tom Sawyer and The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn. (Par.2 PG 1). The books were based on free spirited mischievous boys, who lived on the banks of the wild open-ended river. (Par.2 PG.1). Mark twain was Twains Given name. His real name was Samuel Langhorne Clemens. (Par1 PG.1). When he was a boy he became fascinated with the Mississippi River. It brought various personalities, people, customs, Superstitions, fights, Lynch mobs, and ironically a few drowning and murders. (Par.3 PG.1) Mark Twain’s brother died in a boiler explosion when he was young. (Par.2 PG.1). Later his father had died living twain with the responsibility of providing for his family. (Par.4 PG.2). To support hid family he became a typesetter, a miner, and also a journalist. (Par.4 PG.2). When Twain came to be a teenager, he went to the Amazon to find fortune and glary. (Par.4 PG.2) |
