Trigrams

The four emblems contain two lines and are referred to as bigrams.
These bigrams further differentiate into the Eight Trigrams.
Each couple of trigrams shares the same bigram.

The Trigrams are layed out in their sequence from 1 to 8, showing first Trigram, second Trigram and so on.

Trigram 1 is that of Heaven, or Qian. Its energy is 6 Metal.
Trigram 2 is that of Marsh, or Dui. Its energy is 7 Metal.

All visible and invisible phenomena can be allocated a Trigram.

The Trigrams can represent directions, seasons, family members, body organs, character and temperament, objects, colors and so on. These are used a.o. in Feng Shui and Nine Star Ki.

The Binary Model of Creation unlocks all answers to all questions.

It is the foundation of all Oriental Metaphysical learning and they produce 19 Principles of Nature that should be considered elementary knowledge to each student.

Therefore, our studies into Feng Shui, Pillars of Luck, Nine Star Ki, Acupuncture, Martial Arts, become useless without a thorough understanding of the Binary Model of Creation and the 19 Principles created by it.

We then need studies in yin and yang doctrine, Five Transformations and Yi Jing, before applying any of the systems that take their breath from this.
