| It all started way back when Amy Lee and Ben Moody met as teens. Ben urged Amy into joining a band with him and by the late 1990's, Evanescence was formed in Little Rock, Arkansas. Unfortunately the band's dramatic, dark rock didn't fit in with the rest of the music in the Midwestern state. " It's typically death metal or really soft, older-peope music here, " Amy had said. Inspired by Bjork, Danny Elfman, and Tori Amos, the band began writing EP's and were beginnning to get recognized. With their rising success, Amy and Ben went to L.A. to record what would become a major role of what they are today, 'Fallen'. Amy's incredible voice, guitar driven music, and powerful lyrics has made Evanescence who they are today. | ||||||||||||||||||
