Blink-182
It all stared waay back in the late 80's when Mark Hoppus recieved his first bass guitar (he was 15 then). A few years later in 1991, Mark came across 14 year old Tom (DeLonge) in San Diego. Their original drummer Scott Raynor joined in soon after.
Together, they created Blink (their original name didn't have ' -182' in it).
In 1993, the threesome released their debut EP "Fly Swatter". In 1994, they released their demo "Buddha" and in 1995 released "Cheshire Cat". In 1996, they released their album "Dude Ranch", which became one of their best selling cd's. At around the same time, while touring, the band had to change their name from just 'Blink' to 'Blink-182' because of a lawsuit from another band who claimed they had the same name.
In the beginning of 1999, their drummer Scott left the band and Travis Barker took over. In July of 1999, they released "Enema of the State".
After many records and lots of shows, this band has really become something great over the years!
