ok, ok, ok, i know what you all are gonna say: "Avril is poser, I hate her, she sucks, blah blah blah."  But...how can talk shit about someone when you haven't even met or talked to them before?  That's what I don't get about some people.  Just because your friend doesn't like Avril, doesn't mean that you have to hate her too.  That's just bullshit, i'm not gonna agree with what others say just because i don't want to seem weird or like an outcast.  Now, i'm not gonna say that i hate people who don't like avril, but i just don't want any hate mail or crap about her.  If you don't like her, then fine, just don't read her bio or look at her pics, you don't have to make such a big freakin' deal out of it, okay?  Got it? because i'm sick and tired of all these people, if you don't like avril, then why are you wasting all your time writing about how much you hate her? Don't you have better things in your life to do then complain?  Anyways, for all the people out there who do like avril lavigne no matter what their 'friends' say, here's a little something about her:
Bio:

It all started for Avril Lavigne at the age of two, when she began wowing
everyone with her amazing voice.  Avril grew up as the middle child of the family in the small town of Napanee, Ontario (population 5,000).  When she was younger, Avril sang everywhere and everything, from gospel in church, to country at fairs.  At the age of 12, Avril taught herself to play guitar.
During highschool, Avril, the young skater-punk and sort-of-veggie girl with a unique sense of style, set off to New York City to pursue her goals in music and songwriting.  At the age of 16, while in New York,  Avril was discovered by Antonio "L.A." Reid, who signed her to Arista Records.  After getting signed, Avril moved to Manhattan to begin working on her debut album, which would be later named
'Let Go'.  In New York, Avril also met her future band mates Evan, Matt, and Charlie, with the exception of Jesse, who is from Canada.
At first, Avril had trouble writing songs and Antonio (Reid) even considered hiring people to write songs for her, but Avril wanted to create her own music.  So she moved across the country to L.A. to start fresh.  There, she met producer/songwriter Cliff Magness and pretty soon, Avril was bursting with new ideas for songs.
Avril's debut cd was released in 2002.  The album includes loud, guitar powered songs like "Losing Grip" and "Unwanted", while other songs like "Mobile" and "My World" reflect upon her crazy and fast lifestyle.  And don't forget her most famous and well know songs "Complicated" and "Sk8er Boi (skater boy)".
Now, at the age of 18, Avril is off recording her sophomore CD, due in early 2004 or later this year.
Evan - guitar                    Matt - drummer
Charlie - lead guitar         Jesse - guitar
