Hello! Come on in and let me share some of our decorations with you.  As you came
up to our front porch you saw that we had garlands swagged on the porch rails with a wreath in the center.  The same swag and wreath was placed at the front door.  The carolers standing by the front door were done for me by a friend.  You can not see, but we have cutouts of Joseph leading a donkey with Mary. These are painted white and we have a spotlight on them.   On the other side of the front we have a snowman cutout.

Now you are in our living room, this is where we keep a tree up all year.  It is doChrispctone.gif (18516 bytes)ne mostly in white and gold with little touches of mauve.   My ornaments are
angels.  We light this tree for special occasions during the year--birthdays.
On a dark dreary day you may come by and see it glowing through the
window.
Chrispcttwo.gif (18258 bytes)The mantle is done with a swag with a gold bow and is surrounded with some the angels from my
collection.  You can see one of my antique cross stitch samplers above and a needlepoint bellpull hanging down the right side.  On the cherry secretaryChrispctthree.gif (19662 bytes), I have an

all white ceramic Nativity.  It is very old and was done by the
elderly in a retirement home.  The angel with the blue wings was
a gift my daughter brought me from a trip to New York at
Thanksgiving.  The gold Madonna belonged to my mother.

Chrispcteight.gif (15983 bytes)Now come on under the mistletoe  hoop I made.  I found the pattern and directions in a "Cross Stitch and Country Crafts Magazine" sometime in the   '80's.  The center heart has a boy and girl kissing on one side and on the other it says"Christmas weaves loving art And leaves it's magic in the heart". This is all done in cross stitch.

Now continue on into our Family Room.....
