Velvet Look Frame

 For this tutorial you will need the B_CircleGradent Mask, Blade Pro,

the NK-Mottled preset, Paint Engine, and an image of your choice.

Here are the colors I used for my borders.

 If you want to use my image, right click and choose save as,

and save to your hard drive. Open up the image and choose

Layer/New Raster Layer. Using the bucket tool, flood fill

the new layer. I used Color#725A54. Next Choose Masks/

Load From Disk and choose the B_CircleGradient Mask.

Now choose Masks/Delete and answer yes to the question.

  Layers/Merge/Merge All. Now choose Image/Add Border

and add a border of 15. I used Color#A79380 for my border.

Using the magic wand with the following settings, select

the border.

Next choose Effects/Plug-In Filters/Fantastic Machine/Paint Engine

and choose factiod1 from the drop down list. If no presets show up,

make sure your fmachine.ini file is in your Windows Folder.

If you don't have this setting, download my fmachine.ini file here.

If you have your own settings saved, you will want to backup your

fmachine.ini file on disk, so you won't lose those settings.

Selections/Invert. Now choose Effects/3D Effects/Cutout

and use the following settings. Apply another Cutout same settings

as before except Vertical and Horizontal -3. Selections/Select None.

Change your background color to another contrasting color.

I used Color#6C4E59. Now choose Image/Add Borders

and add a border of 15 pixels. Using the magic wand, same settings

as before, select the border. Now apply paint engine, same settings

as before. Selections/Invert.

Now apply 2 cutout effects, same settings as before.

Selections/Select None. Change the background

color to white. Now choose Image/Add Border and add

a white border of 3 pixels. Using the magic wand, same settings

as before, select the border. Now choose Effects/Plug-In Filters/

Flaming Pear/Blade Pro and choose the NK-Mottled preset. Use

the default settings.

Next choose Effect/Sharpen/Sharpen. Selections/Select None.
Now choose Layer/New Raster Layer. Now choose your text tool

and pick the ArtNouveau1 Capital E with the following settings.

You can download the ArtNouveau1 here or use another ding of your choice.

Make sure your fill color is white.

Apply the text, then apply the NK-Mottled Blade Pro preset.

Now choose Effects/Sharpen/Sharpen. Selections/Select None.

Click on Layer 1. Now choose Layers/Duplicate, then Image/Flip.

Now Choose Layers/Duplicate, then Image/Mirror. Layers/Merge/Merge All.
