 For this tutorial you will need the square mask image..........right

click and choose save as and save to your hard drive.

 You will also need an image of your choice or you can use mine.

My image was restored by Nancy Jane York of Stationery By Nan.

 You will also need Blade Pro. I used Dee's

Copper Shimmer preset. I used the Ornamental Corners

font for my corners.

Open up the mask image and the image you will

be using. Click on your image and choose Mask/New/From Image.

Chosse the squaremaskimage from the drop down box.

Your image should now look like this.

Next choose Layers/New Raster Layer,

then Layers/Arrange/Send to Bottom.

Click on the bottom layer.

Using your bucket toolthegirlsbuckettool flood fill the new layer

with black. Now click on your image layer and

Choose Effects/Texture Effects/Blinds

and use the following settings.

Now choose Layers/Merge/Merge All. Next

choose Image/Add Borders and add a 2

pixel white border using these settings.

Using the magic wandthegirlsmagicwand

select the white border.

Now choose Effects/Plug-in Filters/

Flaming Pear/Blade Pro and apply a

preset of your choice. I used Dee's Copper Shimmer.

Now choose Effects/Sharpen/Sharpen. Selections/Select None.

Next choose Image/Add Borders and add a 14 pixel border using

a contrasting color from your image. I used Color #624f3b. Using

the magic wandthegirlsmagicwand, select the border. Using the airbrush with a

lighter contrasting color from your image spray randomly

around the border. I used Color number #8d826f.

Now choose Effects/Texture Effects/Mosaic Antique.

Use the following settings. Then Selections/Select None.

Your image should now look like this.

Now choose Image/Add Borders and add a 2 pixel white border.

Then using the magic wand, same settings as before, select the

white border. Choose Effects/Plug-in Filters/Flaming Pear/

Blade Pro and apply a blade pro preset.

Choose Effects/Sharpen/Sharpen. Selections/Invert.

Then choose Effects/3DEffects/Cutout and use the following

settings. Apply a second cutout effect, but change the

Vertical and Horizontal to -3. Selections/ Select None.

Now choose Image/Add Borders and add a

6 pixel black border. Then add another 2 pixel

white border. Using the magic wand, select

the white border. Now apply the same Blade Pro

Preset, then Effects/Sharpen Sharpen.

Selections/Invert and apply 2 cutout effects,

same settings as before. Now choose Layers/

New Raster Layer. Using the text tool, add your

corner dings using the following settings. I used the letter j.

Now apply the same Blade Pro preset to the corner.

Then choose Effects/Sharpen/Sharpen. Now

choose Effects/3DEffects/Drop Shadow and

use the following settings. Using the mover tool

position the corner.

Make sure the corner layer is active by clicking on it

on your layer palette. Now choose Layers/Duplicate,

Image/Mirror, Layers/Duplicate, Image/Flip, Layers/Duplicate,

Image Mirror. Then Layers/Merge/Merge All.

This is your final image.
