Showing Off Your Favorite
Tubes

I have so many beautiful tubes
and wanted to find some way
to use them other than painting
pictures.

You will also need filter factory
N and the Ulead
Art Texture.

Here
are the colors I used for my borders.
Okay let's get started. Choose
File/New use these settings.
Next choose Layers/New Raster
Layer. Now click on
your tube tool.
I used scale size 75.
Place you tube
at
coordinates 125,125. Using
your color picker,
choose a
coordinating color from your
tube. I used Color #5C1C21.
Now choose Layers/New Raster
Layer and add a new layer.
Choose Layers/Arrange/Send
to Bottom. Click on the
bottom layer and using your
bucket tool
flood fill the layer
using these settings.
Now choose Effects/Plug-in
filters/Filter Factory N/Bulging Edge Shader
and use the following settings.
Next choose Effects/TextureEffects/Blinds,
and use the following settings.
Now click on the tube layer
and apply a apply a drop shadow
if desired. I used Eye Candy
4000 using the following settings.
Now choose Layers?Merge/Merge
All. Next
choose Image/Add Borders and
add a white border of
2 pixels. Using the magic wand
select the border
using these settings.
Next choose Effects/Plug-in
Filters/Ulead/Art Texture.
Click on Edit.
Click on Palette-5 and click
OK
Now click on Pattern sample
6 and click OK.
Next choose Selections/Invert.
Now choose Effect/3D Effects/Cutout
and use the following settings.
Apply another cutout effect Horizontal and Vertical -3.
Selections/Select None.
Now choose Image/Add Border
and add another
border of 14 pixels ofa contrasting
color. I used Color #A68085.
Using the magic wand,
same settings as before, select
the border. Choose Effects/Plug-in
Filters/Filter Factory N/
Bulging Edge Shader and use
the following settings.
Now choose Effects/Texture
Effects/Blinds and use the same
settings as before. Selections/Select
None.
Now choose Image/Add Borders
and add another white border of 2 pixels.
Using the magic wand,
same settings as before, select the border. Now choose
Effects/Plug-in Filters/Ulead/Art
Texture and use the same settings as
before. Selections/Invert.
Now choose Effects/3D Effects/Cutout and
use the following settings.
Apply another cutout effect,
same settings as before
except Horizontal and Vertical
-3.
Now choose Image/Add Borders
and add another border of
14 pixels. I used Color #5C1C21.
Using the magic wand,
same
settings as before, select
the border. Now choose Effects/
Texture Effects/Mosaic Glass
and use the following settings.
Selections/Select None.
Choose Image/Add Borders and
add a white border
of 1 pixel. Usnig the magic
wand,
select the border.
Next choose/Effects/Plug-in
Filters/Ulead
Art Texture and use the same
settings as before.
Here is your finished image.
