Okay, let's get started.
Open up your image you
will be using and the mask image. Click on your
image and choose Masks/New/From Image and choose
the mask image.
Now choose Masks/Delete and
answer yes when
asked if you want this mask merged into the current
layer. Next choose Layers/New Raster Layer, then
Layers/Arrange/Send to Bottom. Now click on the
bottom layer. Using the bucket tool with the following
settings, flood fill using a contrasting color from your
image. I used color #95806B. If you are working with
your own image, use the color picker and choose a
contrasting color from your image for your borders.
This is what your image will
look like.
Now choose Effects/Textures/Blinds
and use the
following settings.
Now click on your mask layer
and choose
Effects/3D/Drop Shadow and apply a drop
shadow with the following settings.
Next apply another drop shadow,
same settings as
before, except Vertical and Horizontal -1. Now
choose Layer/Merge/Merge All.
Next choose Image/Add Border
and add a border
of 3 pixels. I used color #AF9F8F. Next using the magic wand,
tolerance 0, feather 0, match mode RGB, select the border.
Now Click on Effects/Plug-In Filters/Filter Factory A/Pool
Shadow
and apply a pool shadow to the border using the following
settings. Selections/Invert.
Next choose Effects/3D Effects/Cutout
and apply a cutout
effect with the following settings. Now add another cutout
effect, same settings before, but vertical and horizontal
-3.
Selections/Select None.
Now choose Image/Add Borders
and add a border of
15 pixels. I used color #95806B. Next using the magic
wand, tolerance 0, feather 0, Match Mode RGB, select
the border. Now choose Effects/Textures/Blinds and use
the same settings as before.
Selections/ Select All. Now
choose Effects/3D/Cutout
and apply a 2 cutout effects using the same settings as
before. Selections/Select None. Now choose
Image/Add Borders and add a border of 3 pixels.
I used color ##AF9F8F. Using the magic wand, select the border
and choose Effects/Plug-in Filters/Filter Factory A/Pool Shadow
and Use the same settings as before. Finally choose Effects/
3D Effects/Filter Factory A/Spotlight and apply a spotlight
using the following settings.
