For this tutorial you will need the pocketwatch
tube, an image, and numbers for the watch. You
can download the zip here. You can use the PSP
files and just paste them as a new layer or you can
export them as tubes.

 Open a new image 400 x 400. Copy and paste
the image you are using for your watch as a new
layer. Next copy and paste the Pocket Watch
PSP image as a new layer. Center the watch
over the image you are using.

I didn't like the gold watch so I colorized it using
the following settings.

Next click on layer 2, which is the layer with your
image. Zoom in and use the eraser tool with the
following settings.

Erase all of the image that is
showing around the watch. You don't have to
worry about erasing the watch since you are on
a different layer.

Next you can add the numbers to your watch if you
like. Click on the watchnumbers PSP File. Choose Edit/Copy.
Click on layer 2 of you new image and choose Edit/Paste as
a New Layer. You will need to colorize the numbers so they
match the watch. Just use the same settings as before.

I wanted to add something to decorate it a little
so I used the Starflower tube. Click on Layer 3
and Choose Layer/New Raster Layer. Next
apply the Starflower tube using the following settings.
I don't know where I got this tube, so can't give proper
credit. I did not make it but use it frequently.

Now you will need to erase the stem of the flower.
I used the same settings as before except used size 2.
Next I added a drop shadow using the following settings.

Now for the finishing touch choose Layer/New Raster
Layer. Apply the sparkle tube using the following settings.

Hide layer 1 and choose Layers/Merge Visible. Click
on layer 1 and flood fill with your background or whatever
color you like. You can add a Drop Shadow if you like.
I used Eye Candy with the following settings. Click on
the Merged layer and apply the shadow to this layer.
Now choose Layers/Merge All.

This is my Pocket Watch using Eye Candy.
