For this tutorial you
will need the texturizer
plug-in ,Blade
Pro, the gold-glitter preset,
Filter Factory A, the FootPrts
texture, the
mask image, and an image of your choice.
If you would like to use mine, right click on
the image and choose save as and save
to your hard drive. Unzip the footprts texture
to your textures folder. If you don't have
blade pro, you can use the gold-glitter tile
to flood fill the border. You will have to install
the plug-ins. If you are new to PSP, here is
a link that will explain how to install them. Click
on Filters and Plug-ins under Resource Center.
I also created a separate folder within the plug-in
folder for each filter I have. If you don't have the
texturizer plug-in, use the
texturizer in PSP7.

This is the image you will
be using for the mask.
Right click and choose save as and save to
your hard drive.

Open up the image you will
be using and
resize if necessary. Open up the mask image.

tile to flood fill the border. It works just as well. Next
choose Effects/Plug-in Filters/Filter Factory A/Pool Shadow
and apply the pool shadow with these settings.
Selections/Select None.
Change your background color

12 pixels. Using the magic wand, same settings as
before, select the border. Now choose Effects/
Plug-in Filters/Filter Factory A/Pool Shadow and
apply a pool shadow using the same settings as
before. Selections/Invert.
Now choose Effects/3D Effects/Drop Shadow and
apply a drop shadow with these settings.
Now apply another drop shadow
same settings as above
except Vertical and Horizontal -1. Selections/Select None.
Change your background color to white then choose
Image/Add Borders and add a border of 3 pixels. Using
the Magic Wand, same settings as before, select the border.
Next choose Effects/Plug-in Filters/Flaming Pear/Blade Pro
and apply the gold glitter preset. Now choose Effects/
Plug-in Filters/Filter Factory A/Pool Shadow and apply a
pool shadow, same settings as before. Selections/Invert.
Next choose Effects/3D Effects/Drop Shadow and apply
a drop shadow same settings as before, then add another
drop shadow same settings except Vertical and Horizontal -1.
This is your final image! I added a leaf tube just for decoration.
Masks are my favorite effect for making frames! You can
use any image for a mask. So many possibilities.
