| Name: Tom Marvolo Riddle (a.k.a. Voldemort) Name Meaning: Voldemort means Flight of Death Birth Date: Sometime in 1927 Home: Orphanage School: Hogwarts School Of Witchcraft and Wizardry House: Slytherin Begins School: 1938 Ends School: 1945 Sumary: Tom Marvolo Riddle born from his wizard mother who has Salazar Slytherins blood in her, and muggle father who abandons her before Tom was born. With his mother dead and his father not taking him in Tom was forced to live in a muggle orphanage. He then goes to Hogwarts to be educated on becoming a wizard. In his fifth year he discovers the Chamber of Secrets and the monster within. Because he is a parselmouth he can speak to the giant basilisk and control it. He then orders it to rid the school of mudbloods. He injures a few and finally kills one (Moaning Myrtle). When he asks Professor Dippet if he could stay at Hogwarts for the summer holidays Dippet says he would but because of the monster roaming around he can't. Tom asks if someone were to catch the monster then could he stay. Dippet falls asleep. He then stages an act to catch Hagrid who tames a large spider called Aragog as the controler of the beast. Then Hagrid gets expelled and Riddle gets an award. Riddle makes a diary of his memories so the next one to figure out how to work it could finish the job of killing off all unworthy to study magic. In 1945 Riddle travels the world and becomes more deeply involved in the darkk arts and undergoes many magical transformations and consorted with those considered the very worst of the magical world. Finally in 1970 Tom resurfaces calling himself Lord Voldemort, a name he used in school with only his closest friends. During the 70's he gathered followers and increased his power. On October 30th, 1981 Voldemort killed both Lily and James Potter but when he tried to kill young Harry his spell rebound on him ripping him from his body. He fled and waited for one of his death eaters to find him. He disapeared for 10 years and finally met Quirrell in the woods in 1991. Voldemort tried endlesly to get the stone but went back to the forrest leaving Quirrell to die. Voldemort wasn't heard from again until August of 1994 when Pettigrew found him in Albania. Voldemort had Pettigrew capture Bertha Jonkins and found out about Bartemis Crouch Jr. They placed Crouch Jr.in the school and had him get Harry through the Triwizard Tournament and made the cup a Portkey to Voldemort. He had Pettigrew kill Diggory becasue both Diggory and Harry touched the cup. Then Pettigrew restored Voldemort to his body and Harry and Voldemort battled. Voldemort expirienced what is called Priori Incantem where the wand shows all the spells done in order of most recent. Echos of the peoplehe killed started coming out of the wand an helped Harry escape Voldemort once again. |
